“Friendly, fun and a cultural experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

This family-run pension was a great experience on our trip. I was traveling with my best friend (we are two gals), and we stayed here for 3 nights. Turkey is a land of hospitality -- upon arrival I was not feeling well and these guys went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They're an upbeat crowd of people that know the city of Selcuk inside and out. We're always up for a real cultural experience and they had plenty to offer us -- we took a bunch of day trips (we had a rental car) to see ruins, beaches, and other quaint cities nearby. Of course, Dervis n' friends always had great suggestions - they go out of their way to help...even dropped us off at the city of Ephesus so that we didn't have to deal with parking. There's always an international crowd at this place and it's very relaxing sitting in the cozy, above-the-rooftops eating area and hanging out. We had local food, drinks and tons of fun! Thank you!

We stayed here for two nights and we appreciated Davish's (and his lovely sister) assistance to make our trip to Selcuk memorable.

The Guest house is quirky and different but in a good way, the view is great, the décor is great and it is perfect in every way.

The breakfast couldn't be better and Davish's Sister's evening meals aren't to be missed

I should say, we had a very very nice experience in this hotel! All staffs are very very friendly and helpful, make us feel at home, and we celebrate the 'dragon-boat' festival together, we shared a good time :) The room is so distinctive while all decorations are traditional. You can get a wonderful view on the open-air balcony, and enjoy the most tasty and healthy breakfast at the same time. The location of the hotel is also great! Very near to both otogar and train station.

Room Tip: all of them are okay

Ok, shall we go straight to the point. If you are looking for a blink-blink, anonymous refurbished, banal hotel this is not the place for you.
Viceversa if you like authenticity a warm and friendly bed and breakfast, with room decorated with antique and traditional furniture and a host (Dervish )than can really make you feel at home, Then you find the right place.
We stayed in the new building that Dervish had testfully decorated, our room was like be in a turkish family house of the last century but with all today comfort. The breakfast was good and on the terrace prepared by Lovely Darvish' sister
We would like to thanks Dervish the owner of the place for all his help.
I definitely recommend this place. The nicest place and the best host that we had in our holiday in Turkey .Christian

Absolutely 5 star guest house. It has everything…..run by a fabulous sister and brother team and ably assisted by their delightful friends and staff. The atmosphere is the best and socialising during Chesnas beautifully home cooked dinners in that wonderfully decorated communal dining room/bar is the perfect way to end the day in that awesome place. It is perfectly located, walking distance to bus station, markets and St Johns Basilica…….Ephesus is a short bus drive away. The bedroom we shared had carpets on the walls, lovely and tasteful ornaments and fittings…….and perfectly clean

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw looked good, choice of dorm, with/without bathroom obviously reflects the price

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable air conditioned rooms with ornate oriental decor - every surface is covered with fabrics, carpets and interesting objects. Delicious, copious, fresh food. The price was very reasonable too. Best place my partner and I stayed in in Turkey!

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Turkish place, and for a warm and friendly guest management with a very personal touch, to stay at Homeros Pension.
We really enjoyed our room, which was furnished and decorated in a traditional Turkish way and featured many antique pieces.
Breakfast was prepared and served on the terrace by Dervis' sister who is extremely friendly and also prepares a home-cooked dinner if you want to chill out in a nice atmosphere in the evening.
Dervis and Barbara were very helpful and provided insightful hints and tips.
The location is perfect as you can walk to the main sites and restaurants.
