Warmest place in selcuk as well as friendliest staff. Delicious breakfeast in terrace. Its in the center of the city so you can go anywere easily. If you need anything else just ask the staff they are trying their best to help you out. If i go again i wont consider anywhere else.

The owners are very helpful and welcoming. They carried our luggage up the stairs and also out to our rental car a block away when we left. The rooms are simple but comfortable. I especially appreciated the welcoming bottles of water. We had a lovely view of the castle and the town from our little balcony. The breakfast in the upstairs breakfast terrace was amazing. Fresh fruit including sweet watermelon, juicy tomatoes, yogurt, breads, omelette and more.

Simply the friendliest welcome we have experienced in our long journey throughout Europe. Jimy and his father had organised a cup of tea even before we made it to our rooms. He offered to take our bags up stairs and one of his sons or nephews carried them back down again the next day. He wasn't selling tours, pushing his family bar down stairs or trying to sell anything at all. They were clear about the service they provided, the cost and went about providing it in a professional manner for a hotel/hostel. The breakfast feast was quite unexpected but totally delicious. A cheap centrally located accommodation that I recommend for anyone traveling to Ephesus/Selcuk.

When I had a change in plans and decided to stay in Selcuk longer than originally scheduled, I booked into Artemis on the recommendation of a new friend and was very pleased! The guys that run this place are incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to be sure you are satisfied. It has a great location, the view from the room was gorgeous, and the place was nice and quiet. The breakfast was amazing and the rooftop view made it even better. Oh, and they have a very affordable laundry service as well!

The only possible downside is that there can be quite a few sets of rather steep stairs to climb so be warned if you suffer from bad knees or the like, but the guys insist on carrying your bags to your room so no need to worry about that at least! The bathroom wasn't amazing, but considering I'd only been staying in hostels I was just glad to have my own bathroom (and bedroom) for a change!

Nonetheless, I consider Urkmez a great place to stay and when I look back on my time in Selcuk, this place is among the highlights! They really make you feel at home and I've never had such great service anywhere else!

This was by far the best hotel experience throughout all my travels in Turkey. The staff and owners treat you more like family than guests. The rooms come equipped with large windows that provide breath taking views of the city. Breakfast is an absolute treat.... it's situated on a lovely rooftop that's homemade and handpicked traditional Turkish eats. The vibe is youthful, the price really can't be beat and the location is centrally located nestled amongst a canopy of vines, shops and locals who'd love to chat. *Plus the best turkish bath I have EVER been to is conveniently right across the street :)

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces west.

When we arrived Selcuk, we found a bit nervous as we didn't prepare enough to stay after serval days from Greece to Trukey. We just booked the hotel one day before here.

However, when we arrived to Selcuk's bustop. A guide called "Michael" asked which Hotel we booked and helped to called the Hotel's car for picking. The car arrived around ten minutues and we found it just 5-7 mins to go the Hotel from the Bustop. When we checked in, we found the driver is the owener of the Hotel.. (feeling so warm).

There were fews young men there for helping us the take luaggage and serve us Drink. Although the outlook of the Hotel is not so luxury but the servies the team is prefect. Thereafter, we found they are one family to run the Hotel. The both are handsome guy especailly the youger boy in the hotel.

They also invited us for the BBQ dinner at night. The food was good and full of Trukish style. Athough the proption not very big but the taste really good. The chicken were quickly ran out but the owener specially make more for my husband. Of course, the breakfast was tasty too.
Their dinning place was at the top floor with open area and facing with Castle. Its so relaxing and comfortable.

They even showed us the best way to go in Selcuk and took care our luggages to the bus stop of the day we checked out.

We were so happy to stay here with so competitive price.

Room Tip: Spend not much but you can have safe and convience Hotel

The hotel is very well run. The staff (mostly family, I think) is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept very clean. If you don't care about fancy fixtures and amenities, but want cleanliness, a good breakfast, friendly staff, and a central location, this is a great value. The rooftop breakfast area has a great view.

I had a lot of trouble finding the place. I drove through Selcuk three times, before I found it. The street is hard to find, but parking is under the aqueduct, so just make your way there. I was also slightly disappointed because this hotel advertised parking, but that just meant you could use the improvised lot underneath the aqueduct.
