A great place to stay. The Hotel Bella is an efficiently well run family business. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Erdal, one of the joint owners, will take you to the Ephesus site and pick you up free of charge. Dinner on the roof terrace was calm and relaxing after a hot day walking around the ruins. We are vegetarians and were impressed with the vegetarian options, which were scrumptious. Breakfast was filling and delicious. We had to get up early to get the 6 o'clock bus to Izmir and were given a sandwiches for the trip in lieu of our breakfast. I wish we could have stayed longer. I cannot recommend this place too highly.

My wife and I took a 2-week vacation in Turkey, and we went to Ephesus four days, staying in nearby Selcuk at the Hotel Bella. Wonderful experience! Staff was more than helpful, the roof-top restaurant was so good we ate dinner there all four nights. Breakfast was smorgasbord plus eggs. The proprietor drove us to Ephesus and other places. The do try to give you a tour of their rug dept. downstairs, but we respectfully declined. No real pressure, but it seems everyone in Turkey wants to sell you a rug. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Rooms were small but very comfortable. One of the best vacations we've ever took and we like to travel. The owner even arranged a free bus trip to Izmir to fly back to Istanbul. This is the place to stay.

We stopped over in Selcuk for a few days on our way from Istanbul into the Greek islands. Whereas the nearby port of Kusadasi where the island ferries leave from is pretty tacky, Selcuk was very un-touristy but had several fascinating sites to visit: the Basilica of St John, the Isa Bey Mosque and the Temple of Artemis. The Hotel Bella, on the outskirts of the town, provided a warm welcome. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the bedroom was comfortable. There is a beautiful roof terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner. For dinner especially they put on a large spread of local foodstuffs. Immediately across the road, there are a series of poles which support huge storks nests so you can watch them watching you as you eat. We would highly recommend Hotel Bella for anyone traveling through this part of the world.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor with a view of the ruins.

I highly recommend staying at Hotel Bella in Selcuk! It's a wonderful place to be and Erdal and his staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and hospitable. The breakfast is terrific and is more than enough to keep you charged for your tourist destinations! The terrace offers wonderful views of the fort as the sun sets, as well as an opportunity to see the storks in their nests on the nearby aquaduct. Evening meals are served on the terrace as well and are quite delicious. I felt very satisfied and well taken care of when staying at Hotel Bella!

This guesthouse was lovely to stay in - the rooms are nice, the outside terrace is amazing, and the staff that work there are all amazing. They will drop you off and pick you up at Ephesus, and are very accommodating with all other requests and advice. The breakfast and dinner there are also really nice, especially when served outside!

If you plan to spend the night at Ephesus, we can only recommend the Hotel Bella in Selçuck! A lovely house, in pure ottoman style, with a breath taking terrace on the top where you can have delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The entire personnel is very nice and ready to help. We spent two enchanting nights there.

Selcuk is not a place to have loads of fun. Thats why hotel bella is so great just to chill around. First you notice that the hotel is beautifully decorated turkish style. Owners have a great personality and they always welcome their guests by a small chat on the restaurant terrace and you can get a load of useful info.
Rooms are a bit small but comfortable and functional (air condition included) and also a big plus is that your bed is made every morning. Hotel is also cheap and is an amazing value (perfect breakfast included in price). Staff is incredibly kind and they try to help you in each way.
They have a restaurant/bar on top of where they offer good price for good food (i would specially recommend fish).
Anyhow if you are going to Selcuk - this hotel should be on top of your list.
