“Simple but good for 1-2 nights”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

I was here as part of an Intrepid tour for 1-2 nights & found the hotel was good for that period.
The bathroom was renovated recently so in good shape, however it was small and the shower curtain moved around a lot so the bathroom floor ends up completely wet - but nothing that can't be fixed with a spare towel. Breakfast was the usual Turkish buffet - eggs, goats cheese cigars, bread, watermelon & oranges, olives etc. Service was always really helpful & friendly. Pretty close to restaurants and St John's Basilica so good location

I stayed 2 nights in this guest house. It is in a very convenient location, just 1 minute walk from the bus station and 2 minute walk from the town center, with supermarket and restaurants nearby, and luckily away from the bar area. The double room is a bit small but it is clean and good value at low price, no complain. It seems like every room has balcony.

The breakfast is buffet style serving at the ground floor. It is very great that you pay for. The family running this place are friendly and helpful. They can help you in any questions of traveling the area around.

Just two minutes walk from the bus station. A few minutes walk to the train station. A good breakfast and really lovely hosts. You can re-fill your drinking water bottles for a few TL and help save the planet from disappearing under a mound of plastic bottles.
Centrally situated for exploring the town.

Very central location, small but clean room. Bathroom shower leaked on to floor and door to the very nice little verandah didn't open once we shut it. The breakfast is Turkish with eggs - so adequate and eaten on the verandah outside which is nice enough. Great market right outside on Saturdays. Bonus was a 'sister hotel' owned by the same family I think which was on the hilltop and had a pool - and they drove us up there and back again for a swim. Big bonus in the hot weather. If you want a slightly nicer place further out of town, ask about the other hotel.

Good location, close to city center and main bus stop. Nice family operation, really friendly people. I accidentally left my passport and money in the room after i have check out and travel to another city. The owner offer to post it to the next hotel i am staying in. i received my passport and all my money is still in there. I was glad that i stay with them, would have been a different story if i stay in another hotel.

The hotel offers considerate service. The householder is warmhearted and humorous. The room is big and clean. The location is good as well. We can see beautiful scenery in the middle of the mountain. Fantastic experience for we four girls!

- Pros: relatively inexpensive, close to Selcuk center (probably easy to take bus to Efes without a car), huge bazaar on Saturdays, okay bathroom, parking on street can or parking lot can be tricky at times

- Cons: room is really small, bed mattress is old and can feel the mattress springs, room has A/C but its either too cold or is hot if you turn it off, outdated TV, breakfast time is too short (8:30-10:30) and not much selection, room is a bit smelly from the bathroom

I wish they told us about use of the pool at Villa Dreams (connected to the guest house) which is a few miles up the hill. The front desk told us on the last day we stayed there unfortunately.
