“Great Holiday”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Stayed for 14 nights as a family of 4 - two girls aged 9 and 6. Fab place, good rooms, nice staff, food was okay for an all inclusive and an amazing water park. Its a big enough place to get your own space even if busy.
The cleaning staff were second to none and the place must have an army of people behind the scenes gardening, litter picking, cleaning etc.
A long coach drive from Bodrum airport on a coach but worth it fir the view at the lake bar at the comfort break and the first holiday beer.
Mind out for Mosquitos and make sure you take some repellant, we got chewed the first two nights - they do have a guy driving a golf cart around the gardens at night spraying repellant which is a good idea. Simon Sez and his motley crew are very entertaining and the activity schedule is what you would expect.
Wifi in room was 2 euros a day and was a 60mbps connection (which you can access just about anywhere in the grounds) but it was so much better than the free one which you can only access in a certain area and we were never able to access it due to the demand.
Be wary of the cost of inflatables etc as they are very expensive in the hotel as are hats, bags etc.
Planet Yuka was okay but nothing special and the shop they try to get you to use after is soooo overpriced and the items are poor quality once you look in detail.
I went on the fishing trip and this was good. A very nice guy who used to be a truck driver in the uk was leading it.
The sea is crystal clear and warm and worth a swim with the fish!
All in all a great holiday and our best one as a family so far.

The whole place was spotless which helps keep away the insects. There were so many staff on hand to help that we were never at a loss. There were so many swimming pools that we didn't even manage to get round them all, and the aqua park itself was really good, with most rides being open most of the time. My only gripe perhaps was a slight confusion over what you could or couldn't buy with the "park card". Turkey is a very hot country at this time of year, so we were prepared for the worst, but it wasn't half as bad as we had feared as there always seemed to be a good breeze. The room was a fair size with a separate area for the kids, 2 TVs too, even with some English channels, but then we didn't spend too long in the room. We took full advantage of the all inclusive package, and the kids loved the "kiddie cocktails" at the swim up bars. The airport transfer seemed to drag a little, but then again not too much. We've had worse. The food was not the best at times,if your stayed for two weeks i break up the week by going for something to eat in the town, they picked you up for free in most places and drop you home free. The evening is just ok,this because of the different people travelling from diff counties .

Asked for a room beside the a. bars

Room Tip: asked for the rooms beside the adult bar

I've stayed in aquafantasy hotel with family for one week, hotel is located in one the best coast in Kusadasi, you never feel need to leave hotel for entertainment in the city, every things are availabe and just need to take how to enjoy, pools and coast are clean and suitable for kids, meals are normal but delicious, only point is about juice that like water, no taste and not cold as you like, overally meals and drinks are acceptable and have to pay for special and foreigner drinks.
Room service is one the weak points of this hotel, usually forget to change towels, sheets and load bath staff and have call several times to areange it, most of employees cannot speak English and it's too difficult to talk with them, i stayed at room and force them to change towel and sheets.
A/C cannot reduce the room temperature as you like for sleeping.
Internet will charge extra 2EUR per, but only one device can connect with an id for second one have to pay again.
Aqua park is fantastic and my 4 years dougther enjoyed alot, but just imagin to stay in 40cm kids pool for 6 hours :-).
BTW, was a good journey and me and my wife would like to come back there, we had nice times there.

Stayed at Aqua fantasy for 14 nights from 28th July to 11th August.
Travelled as a family of 4 with 2 children age 11 and 8 and we all loved it!
Being a large hotel it was very busy, but this suited us at there was lots of things to do and lots of variety of pools, bars and restaurants/ snack bars to choose from.
The hotel has two sides - world and club. Both lovely, the only difference was the different style bedrooms/accommodation
Rooms
We stayed in the world side (room 2102) on the ground floor.
Room was a family room with partition from min bedroom to annexe which had a double sofa bed and a single. This led to balcony with table and chairs and a clothes dryer (very handy!)
Ample wardrobe and storage space (we don't travel light!) but lacked coat hangers so take so e with you if you like to hang lots of clothes.
The bathroom was modern and clean and hand and bath towels are provided and changed daily.
Air conditioning was great, worked fine. Top tip - electricity does not work when you are not in your room so make sure you charge electrical items overnight. The beds were made daily and the room cleaned every other day. There is a mini bar in the room but is additional charge and quite expensive but we didn't need to use it. You are provided with a 2lt bottle of water per day per room which was handy.
Bars/restaurants
Two main buffet restaurants - tropicana and oasis.
Both very similar, both very busy! Food variety and quality was excellent, we didn't get bored. Lots of staff monitoring and serving the food and irked the fact that staff wore gloves to serve, demo started high hygiene standards.
You could help yourselves to drinks or waiters would serve you at the table.
We ate mostly at tropicana as it was next to the ampitheatre so my daughter could watch the evening entertainment while we finished our meal in peace!
We also ate at the al a carte Italian, sea food and steak restaurant, all really good and cheap! Steak restaurant well worth a visit (£6 for a 5 course meal with drinks) and just added a bit of variety to the two weeks.
The pearl bar is where we had lunch most days- in fact my children were never out of it! Served from 1230 to 5 everyday, serving, pizza, spag Bol, chicken nuggets, burgers, toasters, hot dogs, kebabs, stir fry, salad, fruit, Cakes. At 230 everyday they served sweet waffles, with chocolate, syrup, strawberry sauce - a real hit with my kids! There was another snack bar but we didn't eat at this but I think it served the same things.
Lots of bars scattered around all the pools and beach so always readily available drinks.
Ice cream.
This was only free 1230 to 230 everyday from the two main restaurants but this was ample. You could buy ice cream at other times if you wanted.
Swimming pools
7 different pools to choose from so you can't go wrong! We used the mAin pool on the world side as it was nearest our room but they all looked lovely. Smaller pools with slides for younger kids too. My children even used the indoor pool as this had a slide and an escape from the heat!
You had to put your towels out before 830am if you wanted a sun bed! This is something I don't like doing! However as everyone did it I didn't feel guilty about it! We never had a problem getting
a sun lounger by the pool and there were always ones available on the beach too. Pool towels are provided and I changed these for clean jones every 3 days.
Entertainment
Something different every day/night. Lots of water stuff in the day (we didn't bother!) and always a childrens show at night at 830pm until about 1030pm. Usually disco, karaoke, bingo, live entertainment for families from 1030 in one of the bars (this is all well advertised on boards). The foam party on the beach was great too!
Water park
Absolutely great! Opens at 1030 u until 545. Lots of greAt slides and pools for all ages. There was only one slide that was 140cm restriction most of the others were 120cm so most kids age 5/6+could use them.
Separate entrance for hotel guests and you could come and go as you pleased. Not all inclusive in the water park but this was not a problem for us, we just nipped out for a drink if we needed one. We used to go to the water park at 4pm most days and spend the last 2 hours. There was a bit of queing but it is summer holidays and was expected. Watch the Q jumpers though (not British I have to say!). Never had a problem getting a sunbed in the water park either.
There's lots more I could say, I could go on for ages but all I all this was a fab hotel, fab staff, very clean, high standards, great variety, perfect family holiday. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. We had a wonderful, relaxing time.

Room Tip: Family room with garden view is at the back of the hotel away from the pool and bars so a bit quiete...

ok, Just returned from our holiday. Hotel clean, staff, very helpful and friendly, thats where it all stops.. if you're a fan of crowned swimming pools full off noisy fat tattooed holiday makers, with very little manners, then this is a holiday for you!

they have 2 main dining rooms, its just a free for all, although the staff are on full alert cleaning tables within seconds, again, staff were faultless.

we stayed away from all the madness till the entertainment staff decided to descend on the beach with at least 80-100 holiday makers for Olympics, right in front of everyone that wished to escape and have a nice quiet day in the sun, stayed there for most of the morning then cleared off to the pools later..

night time was a 'lets see how much free booze we can drink' them stay up till 4am and shout as loud as you can down the corridors !!!

Water sports? stay clear, took my kids out for a spin on an inflatable being towed by a speedboat for all of 3.5 minutes.. BOOM.. that was it, asked why so short, he just said, thats all you get, and couldn't really give a toss

would i go back? never...

Room Tip: don't bother..

Finally I've decided to write this review, because the memory of that last vacation at Aqua fantasy hotel&spa is still "fresh" in my mind ! I begin of saying that we've been here before ( 3 years ago), we've liked it, and knew what to expect ! But soon we' ve discovered that our expectations were too high... Begining with the room, which was the worst in my hole life, in block 1900, very "old" and not well cleaned, located in the farthest corner of the complex, with a yellow stinking shower curtain (instead of white, it' s original colour), with broken-old towels... changed almost never, with a floor that was never washed during our 8 day- stay... and not in the end a block were in our second day of stay a group of 30 noisy russian children were accomodated... Then, another problem was the attitude of the staff, who didn't "care about the turist", that being in june, at the begining of the season! We've also discovered a very crowded hotel, where the only concern was the "quantity" not the "quality" ! In change, the food was great, especially in Flamingo Restaurant with a lot if choises... this and the aquapark remaining my last refuge for a successful holiday !!!

Would definitely go back again.
