Accessed from the Church of Nativity or directly from the street, St Catherine’s Church is a much nicer building than its neighbour and includes a beautiful, small cloister.
If you are lucky and the crowds are not too large, you may be able to access the tomb of St Jerome which is in another grotto beneath the church.

St. Catherine's is another one of the don't miss sites for a Christian pilgrim. The Church as still decorated for Christmas and was awesome. It is a natural to visit with the Church of the Nativity and the fields where the shepherds watched over their flocks.

Well preserved in the midst of ruins - gives it an authentic & realistic atmosphere. What a thrill to visit all these historical places.
