“A problem with noise”
Reviewed 31 March 2014

We arranged two nights here beginning on a Friday and we had booked an upgrade with a patio that overlooked Central Park. Regrettably this resulted in a first floor room on a hard tile wall and floor corridor. As a result the noise from the lobby and meeting rooms became a problem.
I inquired at the desk about a change of room and/or a moderation of the sound but I was met with apathy.
Saturday night was not an issue.
It is uncharacteristic for me to not recommend a place in which we have stayed.

Room Tip: Insist on a room in an upper floor and DO NOT upgrade to the patio.

The hotel is a typical chain hotel with not extra charm. But for 2 nights in low season was good. Decorations of the rooms is average alike to most hotels of this type. The location is very good, breakfast is excellent with even a chef to cook your eggs to your liking, plus a hot tray with different types of eggs. The options are a lot. Not meat at all to keep it kosher, but 3 types of fish were included. Perhaps the counter staff at the front desk is not the best kind of their type, but at least they are there to answer. We had a nice box to take for an early breakfast one morning as we had to leave earlier than breakfast time.
The only disappointment was that internet was not free as in every place in Israel. Strange. But if you are not in a hurry, every bar, even free wifi in the streets you can catch, it is not a big deal, but again, could it be free as everywhere.
For the rest, all ok. good hot shower, and a clean bathroom.

We needed to spend one night before flying away. So we booked this hotel because of the price. For this money u will get small room with old furniture.. Breakfast was good enough .. The hotel is 10 min walk from the centre.

We stayed here for two days while touring Petra. The room was exceptional, as was the included breakfast. For $18 they have buffet dinner each night. The food was a cut above what we experienced in the other hotels in israel . I would have liked to stay longer. Eilat is a resort city on the Red sea so it is expensive relative to other cities in Israel. The fact that we were there during passover probably contributed to cost.

I wasn't sure about staying here bec of it's off the main strip location (which turned out not to be bad) and the look of the place...it looks a bit like an office building that at the last minute was turned into a hotel. Not as aesthetically pleasing as the five star hotels...but then again- it's a lot cheaper.
I was here with my family for 3 nights and the place quickly grew on me. The food is great, all of the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is immaculate...so though it isn't fancy, it's a good and welcoming place to come home to after a long day out in Eilat.
There's a quiet feeling about the place that let's you relax- not a lot of noisy activities like other places (club hotel for example)...no entertainment staff, shows etc...so if you're after a restful holiday- this is a good choice.
Nice workout room-very well equipped. Pool area decor is relatively spartan, but definitely clean and well maintained. Would stay here again.

Eilat is a tourist destination if there ever was one. 360 days of sun and hot temperatures, plus a sea to swim and snorkel in. So your hotel can be a minor detail, and then Central Park is a good and cheap option. Situated in the city part of Eilat it overlooks the airport, but you can walk to the beach, to a large, international shopping mall and the restaurants near the sea in 10 mins. The hotel has its own swimming pool that (unfortunately) closes at 5 pm., not too large rooms, a vast lobby and a breakfast buffet to die for. Don't opt for too cheap though: you can end up in a tiny and dark room. There are better ones though, with far more light and a terrace. But then again: if you go to Eilat to enjoy sun & sea this is a good and not too pricey option. Plus as I mentioned before: their breakfast buffet. Its amazing.

Room Tip: There are rooms with a balcony, but they're situated above the swimmingpool, that aires elevator...

For the money you pay, this is what you can expect. Nothing fancy but still enough. Let's start with the problems:

- Staff is somewhat rude
- No real bar
- The carpet in the room was dirty (or just dirty looking..)
- Towels were washed but maybe in too low temperature (or something) because you were able to find make up in them.
- The "disco" was held in the open room near the lobby (only Fridays and Saturdays though). Didn't bother me much but you can't escape the noise.
- The balcony door was really hard to open

And the plus side:

+ Breakfast was unbelievable. I just loved it! Many courses to choose from. But this will be a disappointment if you are a meat lover because they serve kosher, which means no meat with dairy and breakfast is mainly dairy and vegetarian dishes.
+ Pool is big and the poolside cosy
+ Cleaning every day
+ Near the center and the beach
+ Free sunbeds at Rimonim beach
+ Room is big
+ We stayed in the first floor and had a terrace. It faced a park in the backside of the hotel and was really nice and quiet
+ The shopkeeper is really nice :)
+ Air condition and safety box in rooms
+ Drinks and food from outside the hotel didn't seem to bother them much

If you haven't planned staying in the room the whole holiday, this hotel is really worth the money you pay.
