“Sufficient hotel in Eilat.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 October 2012

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is a short walk from the main bus terminal and is easy to locate. We arrived ~ 6pm and the owner of the establishment actually checked us in. Our room was of good size, it had enough outlets for electronics, the mattress was comfy and the bathroom was clean. One of the smaller trash bins wasn't emptied though and the wi-fi had a very weak signal inside the room. The lobby was about the only place where wi-fi worked.
The buffet breakfast was well appointed and if need be, coffee shops were also close by.
A nicely paced 10 minute walk will get you to the airport. Another 5 minutes and you are at the seaside boardwalk.

We stayed in Eilat for one night as were passing through and this was just about the cheapest place we found on hotels.com that had free parking and a breakfast. The rooms were simple. The bed was comfortable. If there was parking, I didn't understand it and all the spots seemed to be taken. The receptionist was nice and helpful; however, he did take awhile go give us a room when we arrived. Free wifi was only in the lobby. There was food nearby and a mall and rental car locations in the same building on the lower level. The breakfast was much better than expected with many healthy options. However, the orange juice was more like tang. I did enjoy the chocolate milk and hot chocolate. I didn't like the big sign for the "sex" store just across the street from the entrance and also directly out our window. I accidentally left some things in the room as I was in a hurry to leave, and I never received a call about them being found. I think I paid around $110 for the room. Towels were a little on the small side. Overall, it was a fine place to rest for a quick night while enroute elsewhere.

First impressions are most important. When u arrive after a days journey- go to the room- which is not bad- nothing spectacular but Ok and find a kettle, a fridge but no coffee or milk--then go and ask for coffee which seems to have been forgotten and discover it costs 15 shekels. That is a bad start-- it just gives me the impression that the hotel wants to squeeze another 15 shekels out of the guests for something that should be free.
Then its the little things- the soap dispenser in the shower didn't work, a lift broke.
In fairness- the room is clean and OK, the TV has a good range of channels, the breakfats was good and the supper not bad but it sort of lacks something.

The only good thing i can say about this ''hotel'' is the location... if you need to run queek from Eilat.....I really hate to rate ''poor'' any place but i feel i realy have to.
I was staing in a lower floor - very noisy and you get extra noise from the ''lobby''
The braekfast is very boaring - nothing to talk about.. Tuna with Corn ???? So let's go for a better value for your money...

I have never written a bad review but this hotel really was horrendous and if I can save anybody else from experiencing this hell-hole I will!

First, despite advertising A/C in all rooms it doesn't, just an air cooling unit in each from the 50s. Unfortunatley ours broke down and when it is still 35 degrees at night it was unbareable and none of us were able to sleep. I understand that these things happen but we went to tell reception on 3 separate occasions, each time someone came promising to fix it but never
did. Nor did they offer to move us rooms.

The next morning, after no sleep, we returned from breakfast, or should I say a den of screaming, out of control children, who run around shouting and piling their plates high full of e-numbers and pushing any adults who dare to get in their way, to find workmen ripping out the old cooler, covering our room in dust sheets with old oil and water dripping everywhere.

But what really distinguishes this hotel is the terrible staff, who really couldn't care less, another example of this is that despite staying at the hotel for three days, they never once made up the third bed. They were rude, insolent and made you feel like a nuisance. Absolutely terrible customer service, cannot warn people enough to stay away from this hotel!!

First of all we traveled as a group of 4 girls and were skeptical about traveling there in the first place. We got to our hotel and had to pay extra then what we payed online ($30 whatever, we needed the room). Then Day 2 we all got food poisoning. End of day 2 we were all sleeping, on the nice beds,( I will give them that) and we had been going down to the lobby to use a second bathroom, they assumed there were more than 4 of us so they walked into our room while we were sleeping at 4 AM to try and accuse us of having more than 4 people. WE PAID for 4 and ONLY had 4! After that incident, I complained to management about privacy. Later the next day an old man across the room decided to walk around NAKED ALLLL day with his door open. He was in his mid-40's, smoked, with children and other families around with the door open! Security yelled at him and when he did it again I called the cops. This hotel was disgusting! Not worth saving money to stay there. They make you pay more once you get there! Good luck!

Room Tip: Get one that does not face the pool, old men walk around naked and smoke

From the window of the room I saw planes landing in Eilat as the hotel is across the airport. The reception and the restaurant ares are very clean. Breakfast was very good. Rooms should be renovated.
