Although the hotel is not best located, staff at the front office as well dinning room are all friendly & helpful, the rooms are well maintenance and clean.

Very rich buffet for Breakfast as well dinners

Location is just 1 block from the central bus station & less than 250 meters from the airport.

Room Tip: Great choice for short stays, for overnights before traveling to Petra, Sinai or Cairo from Eilat. V...

Stayed in this hotel for one night in may.
The name says that's a "boutique" hotel. Well it's not really the best way to describe it. The decoration are in a Moroccan style, I found in a bad taste, but at least fits the name. The atrium has a very nice lamps and good view of the restaurant from above.
The cleanliness of the rooms can be better, I found a hair in the bath tub.
The rooms decor is very simple, but sufficient. There is a flat screen tv with cable channels.
The most in convinient thing is the length of the bed. It is very short. My leg from knee down was outside the bed.
The location is walking distance from the airport , but far from the beach. The surroundings near the hotel are a bit creepy and dirty.
It's not the best hotel for a relaxing vacation but if you are in town for business it's an ok place to stay.

1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2013

on the weekend of 25-27 April 2013 me and 3 friends stayed at the Marakesh hotel in Eilat for the weekend. we had booked a room for 4, payed full price, and expected to get our money's worth.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised to see that the room we had been given was a couples room, a small room with a double bed and one couch that was opened up into a bed. when we told the hotel management that we had been given a small room for 2 (3 at most) and we want to get a room big enough for the four of us, we were told that "all the rooms are booked, this is what there is. We can add another mattress into the room if you'd like". According to them, the room we received was the standard four-person room. Although if it were, we wouldn't have had to cram another old mattress into an already small room. The couch mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the mattress on the floor was old and torn. We couldn't even walk around in our own room because it was so crowded. We were extremely disappointed from the bad treatment and attitude we received from the management, and we'll never go back to the Marakesh hotel again.
pros: breakfast was good, hotel looks nice. pool is very small and crowded.

Room Tip: Don't go if you are more than two.

Excellent service, ethnic and Aotntit experience of a lifetime
Moroccan bands, dressed in a traditional Moroccan air of Overseas
Rooms are clean and tidy, the food amazing, luxurious breakfast not worthy of 5 star deluxe, low price compared to what you get , and you get a lot
I will return to the hotel and will recommend it any place that I be .

The hotel was good. The room nice and clean. The wireless did not work on my macbook air but worked on my daughter's ipad. Don't know why. However, they quoted their price in US Dollars and then told me that my credit card did not work. Nor did my debit card work. Both cards have worked everywhere in Israel for the last two months. Then, they refused to take the money in US Dollars but charged me in NIS but using an exchange rate of 4.25 NIS to USD. Consequently, they charged me about 10% extra. Next time I go, I may stay there if the rates are good but I will calculate it at 10% extra than what they quote it to be.

We came to Eilat to watch the FED CUP Tennis tournament. We booked for 2 days including HB. We came late on the first day so we did not make it to dinner. We asked to change the first dinner to lunch at the last day. The manager said NO. The manager was at the hotel only from 9 - 12 AM. They tried to sell us the lunch for about $18 per person. They also did not serve drinks during dinner, only water filled with chlorine. We asked for something to drink other than the water and they said that we have to BUY the drinks. The hotel was renovated recently, so the room itself is new and nice, but forgets about the view. The balcony is overlooking a big hole in the ground and after it, there is the airport with its single runway. All the room doors are facing the lobby or the dining area and the nightly performance noise penetrates the rooms very easily. So don’t expect to sleep before midnight. If the music inside the Marrakech hotel stops, you will hear the next hotel noise. There are a few hotels in the entrance to Eilat: NOVA, SIESTA, ASTRAL CORAL and C HOTEL, don’t go to any of those. Go to the hotels by the beach or by the North Lagoon. At least you get a water view not buildings or holes in the ground. By the way, all the plants that you see in the pictures are fake, and made out of plastic. The food is relatively OK.
