The tour books suggested this restaurant, but we went because it was next to our hotel. We ended up going twice during our 3 days in Eilat. This is a seafood restaurant, and the fish was fresh and prepared with the simple finesse that brought out the good seafood flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate indoors one night, and out on the deck the next, as the weather improved. The deck was great, with a view across to Aqaba. Make sure you have the Halvah parfait for dessert...I don't know if you'll ever have anything like it again, and it's fabulous.

The first time we've visited this restaurant was with a group of tourists. The food was ok, but a bit expensive. The service was fine, but the waiters have only recommended the most expensive drinks and dishes.
After returning this week, we will not come back for sure. The place was full of flies, we were moved 3 times and the flies kept coming back, the air conditioner wasn't working. The waiter has ordered a dish we didn't request, which was overpriced and not that good (270 NIS for a 900gr fried fish). We were too hungry and in a hurry to ask for a replacement. After all the complaining and the flies, the waiters stated that they can't control the flies even though the main door remained open allowing them to enter. There was no compensation offered and we left disappointed.

Great place 200 meters before the border to Egypt.

Try Denis. The Fish.

The view is also great.

We tried a local Sauvignon Blanc. It was very good with the fish.

No words, just fabulous! Absolutely exquisite cousine, delicious seafood. It really worths to take a taxi from the city. Greate atmospere, nice staff, good wine selection. This restaurant has everything to be the best place for dining in Eilat.

We worked hard with the hotel staff to get a booking ; when arrived there-after a long [15 minutes ] and expensive trip by taxi -the entrance has been crowded by people hoping for a table !
The restaurant was completely full , with a noisy, happy crowd of all ages . It is a popular ,no frills, restaurant with surprising good food .
We got all sort of dishes : the 'very nervous salad', fish soup, fish carpaccio, fried, baked, grilled drum ,groupama and lavrak etc
The wine list was quite extensive : I ordered Vueve Cliquot Champagne and a good Puligny-Montrachet Chardonnay while most of Israeli restaurant offer only domestic wines.
Fighting bravely with the crowding the waitress succeeded to keep us happy
