Interesting Nature Reserve and is on a major migration route for birds travelling from Europe to Africa and Asia. Saw Water Buffalo, huge Catfish, Pelicans, a variety of birds and Coypu (an invasive rodent whose numbers, unfortunately, are rapidly increasing in Israel).

We have arrived at the place with great expectations to watch the massive cranes that are visiting every year. The birds are regular visitors in the place and they receive very well treatment. Agamon Hula is a great resort that enables us to see from a very close position the beautiful cranes. In order not to disturb the birds there are some coaches that were built especially for us to sit inside and to go around the area where the birds stay.
As the birds accept the coaches they let us come closer to watch.
We were very disappointed to find out that today they were so few compared to the beginning of March.
As a compensation we had a beautiful sunset.

I did a tour in Agamon Hula last month. To watch the birds is amazing !
But the tour itself was as idiotic as it could be !!!
The tractor driver kept stopping on the wrong side of the birds, so we had a hard time seeing them ( but he a great view ).
The guide on the wagon spoke on the microphone NONSTOP so we hardly could hear the birds.
I asked to stop so we can watch the birds properly; Answer, you all keep your hands inside the wagon. Yea we knew that already.
It was very sad to make such a awful experience at such a wonderful place....

This is a tandem review with the Agamon HaHula site. This site does not offer views of the migrating cranes, that's Agamon.

However, it does offer some amazing views of the beautiful scenery and animals.

There is a good parking area with benches and bbq for lunching.

Although this park is smallish, spending a few hours here in compliment to a Agamon trip is great.

They have a video/movie which comes with access.

The national park membership works here which saves some money.

Check it out!

Wow, what an amazing place. Millions of birds stop here on the migration from Europe to Africa in the fall. We rented bikes and spent an hour touring the bird sanctuary. We listened to the music of thousands of cranes. They stop to rest and eat on their way back to Africa.
