“good romanian food with some misses, a bit pricey”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

most food nice (pure Romanian) but stuffed spleen burnt and dry, they shouldn't have served it
nice home made pickles but at 5NIS a slice of pickled watermelon that's over priced.
my friend loved the smoked costiza I though it fatty and insipid.
rest of fodd good especially gefite fish and kishka. beer choice good rather than wow and service's as usual in Israel, amateurish.
all in all go to eat there but don't expect Seattle brew houses.

“Best in Haifa”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

The atmosphere in this restaurant is fantastic. I love the interior design, full of random vintage decorations. The menu is very special, with a huge variety of excellent eastern-European food.
The prices are fair and the services is fast.
Love coming there for a good meal.
Highly Recommended.

“Good Food + Good Sounds + GREAT BEER = GREAT PLACE”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

On Tuesday nights in the summer, they close the street and have live music. I and four friends had a good time and enjoyed the entire experince. Food, beer, music, scenery, weather, atmosphere, etc., etc.
This place is ECLECTIC which means it is uniquely special and highly recommended. I look forward to going back again soon.
I preferred the pastramah which comes in beef or pork and is more like sliced pot-roast.

“Waited a long time to get there and was not disappointed”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

Ma'ayan Habira is a name you hear often when you ask about pubs in Haifa.
When we finally had the chance to visit this pub (established in the 1960s), we were not disappointed.
Great selection of fresh beers and good food and good service, all at reasonable prices.

“Old-fashioned pub with great food and atmosphere”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

This place is an established venue in Haifa. It serves great eastern-European food without trying to be too smart and sophisticated about it.
In the summer, usually on Tuesdays, they close the small street to vehicles and have an outdoor music show with tables outside - great fun!
