This is a simple Italian restaurant. The food is tasty, nothing to write home about. If you are hungry, their portion are pretty big, cor a reasonable price. Menu is pretty large, most of it are pastas, good soups, and more.

We eat at this restaurant quite often and the food, service and atmosphere are very good.
Their pastas, pizzas and desserts are very good and tasty. The plates (sizes) are just fine.
The prices are not to high so all in all everything is just fine.

For those who like Italian food it might be a very good choice. The size of the dishes - always big .The design of the place is a nice one, warm. In winter a lot of good soups might be found there.Affordable prices especially at noon.

I've been to Pasto enough times now to give it the review it deserves. Each time I've gone, whether for coffee and dessert with a friend in the afternoon or for dinner with my family at night, the food and service were extraordinary. They have a comfortable indoor seating area as well as an outdoor terrace.

The other night we were a party of five, each with very different tastes. One of us ordered a seafood plate with rice, one had Pargit, dark chicken meat, boned and flattened into a steak like food, one of us had the liver and onions and my daughter and I shared a beef dish in a cream sauce. My partner enjoyed the seafood and he commented on the plump juiciness of his shrimp and the proper level of doneness in the calamari.

Dad had the Pargit which was lightly grilled and juicy, sitting atop a bed of mashed potatoes. I had a taste and could have finished off his portion for him.

My son had liver and onions. He asked the waitress to instruct the kitchen to cook the liver with a gentle touch and he was happy that the results were just what he'd ordered.

The dish my daughter and I shared, the beef strips in a creamy sauce was delectable. The beef was tender, the dish was loaded with fresh mushroom caps, and the delicious sauce had lots of finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes which balanced the cream perfectly. The dish was served with potato gnocci which were light and delicious.

Whenever we wanted to attract the attention of the wait staff, it was very easy. In many local restaurants it seems as though the wait staff has all taken a course on how to avoid eye contact with customers. Clearly the staff of Pasto hasn't taken this course and as they roam around the restaurant they constantly look around to see if everyone is happy. What a welcome change from the norm. Service was attentive without being obtrusive.

Desserts were yummy. We shared a tiramisu (not bad but not great), a very refreshing forest fruits sorbet. and tasty creme brulee. Dad had a fugato, a shot of espresso with a big scoop of fanilla ice cream .

There is enough of a selection on the menu to keep me coming back several times before repeating any item .

Kudos to Daniel Yisraeli who runs a terrific restaurant, which to my delight was bustling with patrons from seam to seam.
