“No Frills Hotel”
Reviewed 28 March 2012

The hotel is basic, room has simple furnishing, but functional and inexpensive. The low price and friendly service are the key pluses. On the other hand, the construction work on the hotel street makes it hard to find and access the hotel. The parking is on a parallel street at the back of the hotel and there is no sign of the hotel at the entrance to the parking. Given the construction work and the confusing access, it is really important for the hotel to put a sign with their name at the entrance to their parking. There is a 20 shekel daily fee for the parking. A few large flies were flying over the food at breakfast, which was very unappetizing. Again, this is a porblem the hotel can easily fix. We had a nice urban view from our room.

The hotel is nice and a good price. Parking is available also, but you have to ask where it is, and wait for someone to unlock it if you need your car after hours. Ironing board and iron provided in a separate room. No frills but nice hotel. Part of town is not unsafe, but not great for tourists - not near the 'good' part of town. Note, the B'Hai gardens are closed if it rains.

We were a little worried, arriving at Theodor late one evening, because of the construction work and the shady neighbourhood we had to drive through. That, however, was not the hotel's fault and we stepped into a lovely lobby, were greeted by the friendliest receptionist, and were directed to a lovely room with one of the most incredible views we have had in Israel.

Everything at the Theodor Hotel was fabulous. It was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, reasonably priced, well-located (if there hadn't been construction), friendly staff, comfortable rooms and bedding, great views, tasty breakfasts. What a treat.

Room Tip: Ask for a room up as high as possible. The views are stunning.

Great hotel - clean, modern, excellent views and best of all it was cheap.
Could've had a bit more storage space for clothes in the room and the breakfast was rubbish, but everything else was spot on.

Room Tip: If you can get a room on the corner of the building you should end up with dual aspect view

I stayed two weeks ago at Theodor Hotel Haifa.
This hotel is surprising against for what you pay.

When you walk in from the renovating road at street into the trade center tower you don't expect to get this kind of hotel.

The hotel was designed just the way I love. The lobby is an open space with brand new boutique furnishing. The sofas are unusual. It is square shape, very soft and modern. I asked the reception where did they get this because I really loved it and wanted it at my home as well!

In every floor you can find a small library. I was more impressed of this unique design then I was really reading - have to admit.

There is a feeling of home in the new rooms.
It smelled good and was completely new.
I think I was one of the very first to sleep in this bed. Bedding are new and bathroom looks shiny.

This is not a spa hotel and you don't have a swimming pool there, but if you arrive for business like me, I think this is a bargain!

I recommend this hotel because I was surprised of the food quality.
everything was fresh and I understood that some of the ingredients are coming down from the street market which is two minutes walk. This is what the chef told me and my friend having there a fine breakfast.

The staff was extremely kind - I think they are very excited from the opening, you can feel this in the air.

If you wish to visit the Baha'i gardens, it takes 20 minutes on foot via several interesting streets of Haifa.

Do not miss the theater 5 minutes from this hotel and visit the Abraham Garden just 1 minute walk from the lobby.

I loved it!
