They use fresh & clean beef. It is so tasty that you don't need any dressing or side dishes. PURE Meat!!!

The place is spotlessly clean, the meat is fresh and of a decent quality, but the end product is very dry and underspiced; a bad combination when it comes to meat. There aren't many toppings to speak of, and the price is a bit much for the relatively humble portion you get.

We were told "Emil" is the best Shawarma in Haifa. Well, I haven't eaten all the Shawarma's in Haifa, but it's nowhere near the best in Israel. But it is, like many other things in Haifa recommended on TripAdvisor, ridiculously overpriced.

Let me explain -
First of all, the Shawarma isn't bad. The thing that probably makes people recommend it, is that it is beef, rather than Chicken or Turkey. However, it is very dry and required me to literally POUR tehina and amba on to make it juicy enough. In addition, there are no salads - just some onion and tomato that they add before serving.
Second. you pay a very hefty price for a very very basic meal. I think it was 35 shekels for the pita. And we're not talking about a fancy location here. It is in a tiny dinky little corner at the entrance to Wadi Nisnas. No parking. No seating. No AC. Street food that should cost 30% less.

If you want to pay top dollar for Shawarma, go to Shauli in Hadera. They have good Shawarma. Otherwise, get a mediocre Shawarma for a reasonable price (it's 22 shekels for a great Lafa at the Oren Center in Be'er Sheva).

A small place at the intersection on HaZionut and Allenby. Parking isn't easy around lunchtime and you might need to wait in line a few minutes, but it is well worth it. This place only serves shawarma (real, not chicken or turkey) and is the best in Haifa.

No doubt here - the best shawarma in Israel! So stable - you always get what you expect. Very small variety of salads, simply because there's no need! A little more expensive than others, but hey - quality has its price...
