It was a really nice surprise when we arrived, the building of the hotel is nicer than how it looks on the picture and the room is very nice and comfortable.
The amenities, the happy hour, the 15 min free massage and the people make of the hotel a great option!

Beautiful hotel and great staff, location is convenient to the train but really not a choice location, not much going on in that part of town. Breakfast and happy were served beautifully and were delicious.

Room Tip: Can't imagine a bad room in this beautiful hotel.

I stayed for 10 days and found some good points and some not so good. I had reserved a split level room, but was fortunate to have been given a chance to check it out on arrival and I really appreciate this. Those particular rooms are right off the lobby, and though spacious do not have a view or balcony. The noise level was sure to be high from lobby chatter and the continual music. I was given a 4th floor terrace room, which was quite small but had a fantastic balcony and view. The closet was cramped and the bathroom very tiny, but clean, new and had a very good shower. The bed was extremely comfortable, but pretty much filled the entire room. Perhaps it would have been less cramped if my stay were just a few days. Would have really been a tight fit for two.

Front desk staff was not always very welcoming, rarely a smile or offer to assist. Even though I saw them each day, I felt invisible. The most consistently enjoyable experience there was their beautiful breakfast. The offerings were tasty and numerous. Best were the incredible coffee cakes and pastries, salads and fruit. The evening happy hour snacks were such a nice touch. Keep in mind, however, that there is no actual restaurant or room service. Yakim and the head chef were extremely welcoming and greeted me with courteous kindness each morning.

The decor throughout the hotel was upscale, and consistent. Each room was stylishly appointed and the design and colors were soothing, especially in the breakfast area. Cleaning staff did a poor job on most days, bed not made well, coffee supplies not replenished.

One drawback for me was the location, as there is really not much in the surrounding area in terms of shopping and restaurants. Convenient to take a taxi from the train station on my arrival and I was able to walk one block to the Carmelit (subway), which was easy once I figured out how to pay and where to disembark, then a brisk walk from the stops over to the Bahai Gardens. But I would have liked to be closer to German Colony for restaurants or up near Carmel Center for shopping. Its a toss up because the hotel is so beautiful. If I were to stay again, I would definitely splurge for the Deluxe room for the larger size, seating area and bathtub, although those do not have the balcony.

Room Tip: Splurge for the deluxe room.

This is a beautiful hotel in downtown Haifa. We loved the luxurious and chic design in a historic building. The breakfast room was beautiful with a greenhouse section. The delicious breakfast included fresh fruit and pastries as well as savory Israeli fair like pickled fish and olives. We wished we could have stayed longer.

I think this is one of the best hotels in Israel and the best in Haifa (basis for comparison: we stayed in Melody Hotel, Shalom Hotel and Royal Beach Isrotel in Tel Aviv and in Mount Zion in Jerusalem)

It's new (since Mar'13) and very stylish.

We stayed in Deluxe room:
- very nice, bright, spaceous - with bed abd sitting area with sofa, table and etc.
- bed with good matrass (very important for my 100kg)
- comfortable bathroom with bathtume, shower (usual and "rain") and all other common bath features

The breakfast menu was good & wide enough (though ita kasher).
At happy ours (appx 5pm) they surved even soup - in addition to snacks, fruits, soft drink & wine (common to all Atlas hotels)

Client service on good level, helpful and friendly.

The location is also fine, not far from railway station and center of the city (e.g german colony)

So we recommend it!

My wife and I travel quite a bit all over the world, and we stumbeled over this little hotel right under our noses. located in the commercial center of haifa not in the touristy busy and noisy german colony this lovely 40 room boutique hotel is a gem. Within 5 minutes we were on first name basis with most of staff who couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. Situated in a preseved old Arab villa that has resently been done over, rooms are spacious breakfast is a full hour of delight and decor all over has been made to highest of standards. compile this with a very reasonable price and I think this is probably the best value for money you can get at a boutique hotel in Haifa. highly recomended.

Room Tip: only the right side of the house overlooks the bay, view is spectacular.

It was the best places we stayed in during our two-week trip around Israel. The hotel's ambience makes you relax and enjoy your time in Haifa. The rooms are very nicely designed and quiet, many with a nice view. We also loved the breakfast and late afternoon snacks, wine & coffee included in the price.
