It was good and charming. The ambiance was nice and cozy. Still, we thought the bill was surprisingly expensive. The specials are expensive and we should have asked for the price when we ordered from the nice and smiling waitress. I would say its fine and pleasant, the food is pretty good, but be careful with your budget....

18 years old barood, is a warm little bar with a good kitchen.
And this kitchen, made barood a restaurant.
Tables made for couples and jazz music in the background
Goes well with a perfect glass of Guinness beer or a glass of amarone wine.
It's a must ! When you visit Jerusalem

We chose this place based on all the re reviews, so we had high expectations. Main dishes were quite a ripoff - the 4 supposedly leek meatballs had too much cinnamon in them and were simply accompanied with some rice - not what you expect for 90 NIS. We also had to buy a more expensive wine as it seemed that a 1/3 or the wines on their menu were out of stock. I'd only go for coffee as the atmosphere is cosy and warm.

Cosy restaurant/bar with Belgian beers, good food selection and live music at times. This restaurant is hidden in an alley off Jaffa street (Tripadvisor map had it all wrong, this is actually close to Jaffa gate) where you will find more nice food and drink options, even open on Shabat and some all night.
