The hotel is located in the midst of Jerusalem, Great Breakfast, Friendly staff, free wifi. What else can you ask for ? Our second time there, and will sure return next year.

The Harmony is a new functionell city Hotel with small rooms ( didn't know where to put my suitcase ) . Its very clean , everything is new , small flat TV Screen , free wifi + internet in the Lobby . The minibar wasn't working .
As to the location : if you choose a Hotel in the city centre with all the clubs , restaurants and pubs around you have to know that it will be noisy during the night . We closed the window and put the aircondition on during half of the night and than we closed it and it was fine for the rest of the night .
Breakfast is great , they don't serve dinner . Staff is very helpful and always polite .
The highlight is the Happy hour , very afternoon they serve free coffee , tea and wine on the hotels small terrace , overlooking the busy street life . You shouldn't miss this.

First time staying at Harmony and it won't be the last. As all of the reviews state, this hotel is excellent. Great location, clean, beautiful common rooms and lovely outdoor space. Yes the rooms are a bit small but they are lovely and good for a short -term stay. The manager was warm and chatted with the guests each day. Food was excellent and plentiful for the size of the hotel. We loved the happy hour - a nice touch. On Shabbat I enjoyed relaxing and reading on the outdoor space - really lovely. And the price is excellent. I also loved the location - an easy walk to many sites and even though it is on a lively street we found the room to be quiet at night.

Our 7 day stay at the Harmony Hotel in Jerusalem was outstanding. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, comfortable, attractively decorated and quiet. The location was central to all our needs - touring, dining, shopping and the Old City.
The dining room was warm and welcoming and the breakfasts were plentiful, varied and tasty. The happy hour between 5 pm and 7 pm was an added treat.
Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Ayala Dekel, the General Manager, must be the reason the hotel is so outstanding. She's extremely approachable, caring, concerned and extremely helpful.
It was an honour staying at her hotel and we most definitely will return.

Very simply, my husband and I cannot wait to go back to Israel, and when we do, we will definitely stay at the Harmony again. If we had known what a great experience we were in for, we probably would have stayed there, and only there, for our entire trip. (We first stayed in Tel Aviv for a few nights).
We called the hotel directly from NY to book the room, and spoke with Lilach. Our first impression was excellent, right from the get-go. She competently and quickly booked our room and sent us the email confirmation within minutes. She reconfirmed with us a few days before our arrival as well.
Upon arriving at the hotel Lilach greeted us and because we arrived on the earlier side, she gave us the wonderful opportunity to choose between two different rooms. We were staying six nights so we really wanted to be comfortable. Our room was perfect. We had two twin beds that were pushed together to make an almost-king. Its true the beds are on the shorter side but for us it was not an issue. We found the hotel to be quiet and great for sleeping. The rooms were immaculately kept and housekeeping was efficient and quick. The decor is very modern. We love that, so it suited us just perfectly and we felt very comfortable.
Despite its very modern (some might say stark, but I disagree) appearance, the hotel has such a homey feel. That's because the people make it a warm and inviting experience. Every day there is a lovely happy hour in the beautiful lounge. We enjoyed meeting other travellers and sharing experiences after a long day of sightseeing and before heading back to our rooms to rest before dinner. The lounge is like a comfortable living room of an old home - its decor is completely in contrast to the rest of the hotel which makes it feel even more relaxing, since you are "getting away" while getting away! There's a pool table, internet station, television, books, comfortable couches. Right outside the lounge is a lovely terrace, with hammock swings, chairs, tables. We went and sat there at night, just listening to the sounds of the street below and enjoying the night sky.
Breakfast at the hotel is simple and perfect. Israeli salad, plenty of breads, cereals, yogurts, and each day one or two different hot choices like scrambled eggs or blintzes. There are newspapers to read while having breakfast and always nice people to chat with and share ideas for the day.
We loved the location of the hotel. Yoel Moshe Salomon Street is a quaint, pleasant street with some cute shops and cafes. Ben Yehuda Street is one minute away, essentially around the corner. The Old City is easily walkable - the Jaffa Gate is about ten minutes away. Surrounding streets are all of Jerusalem's most famous thoroughfares, near public transportation, shopping, and historical attractions. We don't drive and relied on cabs, and we were fine.
So, the location, the food, the room and the lounge were all great. But the absolute best asset of the Harmony Hotel is their very smart, very efficient and extremely warm staff. Ayala, the manager, seemed to know every single guest who was staying in the hotel and seemed to take a genuine, personal interest in our experience and our stay. Lilach, who is at the front desk during the day, is a gem. There's nothing about Jerusalem that she did not know, and she really made it her priority to make our stay a good one. Her patience was unbounded! She handled question after question, from us and many others, so well, no matter how small or trivial they may have seemed. And I owe a special thanks to Esti, who works at night, for taking the time to help me when I had a small problem that I thought was a big problem, and for helping me resolve it quickly.
This is a small hotel with a big heart. We normally seek out larger hotels with lots of extras. It was out of character for us to choose a place like the Harmony but we are so glad we did. It is now our "home" in Jerusalem and we will be back, for sure.
