Our family of three from New Jersey went on the "Holy City Tour" today and there were individuals from Germany, England, and Spain, and all from different religious backgrounds. Our guide, Shakked, was able to make everyone feel comfortable and was able to convey to us all the wonders of this magnificent city. Through her stories as well as her historical knowledge, she was able to explain the convoluted and complicated richness of the city of Jerusalem. Shakked was able to be historically accurate and religiously indifferent, while still adding her own personal spin to the stories, bringing the history back to life!

Did the free intro to the Old City tour with our tour guide Jeremy on our first day to the Old City, it's a great way to get started if you have never been here before. Jeremy was extremely friendly, easy to understand and very knowledgable about all subject matter related to this area of the world and especially Israel. Our group was about 18 so we could always hear him and his explanations of what we were looking at, he encouraged questions and did a great job answering them all. Would highly recommend him and the free ( make sure you tip) Sandemans tour.

Good trip to Jerusalem, and this tour is a MUST HAVE on Jerusalem, the guide (YOANI) was very helpful, explained all the history about each highlight, explained a little bit of the local culture...

Definitely I recommend this tour! Forget about the conflicts, Jerusalem is pretty safe, all the people are very kind!

Thank you from Brazil!

We've been traveling the world for 9 months and Jeremy's tour was the best we've taken...and it was free! We started with a big group but they split us into two smaller groups which helped keep it intimate, and Jeremy projected his voice quite well so it was always easy to hear him. He delivered a ton of information in a clear and digestible way, and made it all fun with many jokes and trivia questions along the way. Along with the essential facts, Jeremy included personal anecdotes and non-biased contextual information on Israeli religion and culture which really enriched the tour. Highly recommended.

We went on the two hour "free" intro tour of the Old City. Our guide Ryan was very enthusiastic and gave a very good introduction at quite a measured pace to cater for all levels of understanding, that included both history, basic geography and a bit of socio-political context. The up-sell elements ("you can book on a more in-depth tour" "here is a good place to eat" etc) that we expected are very gentle and did not intrude on the tour. You give a "suggested tip" of at lest 50 shekels at the end, which still makes it great value. Was the perfect way to get an intro to the old city which then meant we could go back and spend longer at the bits we wanted and go on other tours (we had another one booked with another company after this one, a much more in-depth political tour, but without this intro one the other one would have made far less sense). Would definitely recommend.
