The restaurant attached to the Azzahra Hotel is really welcoming and friendly.
There is a great atmosphere and it always seems to be busy.
The food here is wonderful - we have tried a variety including okra lamb, green beans lamb, lamb with spinach, mixed grill and hummus. But the speciality seems to be pizza which is cooked in a wood fired oven. There are many different pizzas to choose from and they look smell and taste delicious.
There are also a variety of local beers and wines available as well as a range of imports.

Service is warm friendly and efficient.

We've been back two nights in a row and I'd definitely go back again.

The service was friendly and responsive. The food was really good. Try the salmon steak. Different from how we might get it, but really excellent. Lots of traditional Middle Eastern foods but also some Italian dishes and even a couple American if you're longing for hime. We actually went back a couple nights later!

Visited after a long day out in Jerusalem. The restaurant is part of the hotel, but once seated with a view out to the garden you don't feel like you are a million miles from the hustle and bustle.
We shared a few dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the portions and the tasty food.
The pita bread was baked fresh (first time for us in either Israel or Jordan) and the pizza, while it won't make the Italian's nervous, was pretty good.
Would return again.

We went here because it was close to our hotel but then went back a second time during our four day visit. Has excellent Palestinian dishes and a good selection of grills meats and international dishes. It also has does pizza though I didn't try that. Reasonable prices, good service and they give you a little dessert for free. Serves alcohol which many East Jerusalem restaurants don't.

The restaurant has also a recommendable Hotel attached to it.
The unusual thing about it: up front it runs a Pizza oven with very good Italian pizza, but the main part serves Mideastern-Arab cuisine at its best at the same time. So you have the choice of both worlds in a very good restaurant with exquisitely and generously seasoned meals, a good selection of wine and beer at very acceptable prices.
At the same time the waiters are attentive and helpul. If all this is not enough yet you can move to the bar afterwards for a late evening drink or enjoy a waterpipe (Argileh) on the side of the Pizza restaurants. All in all an enjoyable and tasty experience.
