I had the pleasure of staying in the hotel for nearly a mounth on the hotels invite. However, me not being a paying guest did not stop anyone of the staff to provide the highest level service possible! No matter if it was one of the restaurants, the bar, room service, or the reception everybody was willing to put aside thier tasks for a minute or two for a little chat with me. Undoubtably professional staff from maids to managers.
The hotel rooms as well as all other areas of the hotel are very tastfully furnished, rooms are spaceus and equipped with all the latest gadgets.
It was an absolute joy being so close to the old city and be part of the vibrant days of Jerusalem

Room Tip: It worth the additional charge to have a room with a view to the city walls

Me and my family stayed 5 nights at the hotel. The hotel is beautifull designed and we enjoyed the great service. but most of all I discovered the greatest bar in Jerusalem. We had FABULOUS nights in the hotel bar thanks to Shahaf the bartender. Shahaf recommended us great cocktails and he was really professional and friendly, our family vacation had never been this fun and loose. We will definitely come back to the hotel, and I'm just waiting for the day that I will find a bar like that in Montreal. Thaks again for a great vacation.

My husband, adult son and I stayed 6 days at the Mamilla, in two adjacent rooms. The Mamilla is a new (they say 2 years old ) hotel whose location (5 minutes from the Jaffa Gate of Old Jerusalem, and 5 minutes from the chic Ben Yehuda street full of restaurants and art galleries) cannot be beaten. It is a beautifully designed hotel, with a gorgeous lobby and very nice modern bedrooms. (I especially liked the state of the art glass wall bathrooms that can be switched from clear to obscure for privacy at the push of a button). We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which included many great and varying salads, nice cheese and bread selection, and best of all, unbeatable fresh orange juice. The service during the breakfast was superb.

BUT... there were service flaws in a couple of areas that were disappointing in a 5 star hotel. Our checkin service was extremely slow, and there were no others checking in at the time. It would have been nice to have internet services included in the quite high room rates. The little niceties, like the dry fruit treats, were supplied on some days and not others, and a bottle of water was only provided the first day. Although the complimentary bottle of red wine was a nice touch, only one of our two rooms got one. Strangely, staff knocked on the door to ask about our need for extra towels, which sounds nice, but seemed like an unnecessary bother at the end of the day (instead the housekeeping staff should just assure adequate towel supplies when they clean the room). It would be great if the hotel services moved up to the level expected of a hotel that is otherwise great.

The dry fruit amenity is served upon arrival and an “Avian” bottle of water is renewed every four days.
A bottle of red wine is in the room is a complimentary gift given per room type or other considerations. We do not have all the details of your stay, thus we cannot know why one room received wine and the other did not.

The Mamilla hotel is beautiful. It is set in one of the nicest areas of Jerusalem and brings a great combination of ancient and modern. The rooms are well appointed and the Bathroom is unique. With all this and a very hefty price you'd expect great service, but nope. The service is average all around. I can go on for ever but will mention just two things: no turn down service, no fresh towels in the evening; less than average breakfast. Israeli hotels are known for their sumptuous breakfast, but somehow in this hotel it is lacking badly. You should have seen my over easy eggs, it was between an omelet and a scrambled egg. So... I hope they improve the service and bring it up to a boutique hotel level because it has the potential.

Housekeeping is cleaning twice a day and a turn down service is offered as a standards. If you have not received that service it could be because the “Do No Disturb” lamp was on.
As for your feedback about the breakfast, it will be passed on to hotel’s Chef.
We hope to host you sometime in the near future.

I stayed in Mamilla for a few days. Overall experience is good, however few aspects have to be mentioned: Hotel is for those who enjoy super modern style - for me it was too much! Dark corridors uncomfortable furniture, small standard room. Great bathroom especially the changing glass :) hard to explain. Breakfast in comparison to David Citadel (next door) hotel is quite poor. Staff is well trained, especially at the restaurants. One incident happened I forgot my jacket in the room when checked out, they couldn't return it for several days, as they said they never found it. Finally after arguing a lot they managed to find it. This experience wasn't pleasant! Front desk attitude wasn't adequate in this situation. I have to admit that guest relation lady who explained us about hotel when checked in was acting as she was the guest and we were the stuff. Quite funny to sea how proud she was. Spa and gym are AMAZING. The lady who spoke Russian at the SPA reception was VERY nice and helpful.

We celebrated my mother's 60th birthday in this hotel and booked 3 rooms for our family.
The hotel is fabuless, stylish, modern and has wonderful staff with fantastic can do attitude.
Every staff member that contaced us fron the valet parking to front desk, concierge, bell boys, waiters, security and the duty manager were smiley, nice and very welcoming.
Shabbat dinner was very tastey and had a large variety of Kosher delicious food.
The decoration of the hotel and the rooms is very unique and modern, especially the decor of the bathroom and the shower.
The location is the best in Jerusalem and just a few steps fron the old beautiful city!
If it's your first time in Jerusalem or evet if it's your 10th I highly recommend this hotel!
I'm sure we will return to this hotel soon!!!
It's worth every dime!
