“Get Stuffed”
Reviewed 12 February 2014

A party of 4 hungry men, we went to Noya for dinner. The restaurant was quite full, but we were shown immediately to a table, (we did make a reservation). The menu was intriguing, the food was even better.

We were well and truly stuffed, not even able to eat the dessert.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the bill was very reasonable.

Great evening - in the heart of Jerusalem.

“Superb food & service”
Reviewed 19 January 2014 via mobile

I went to Noya for the business lunch with an old friend. I'd never been there but heard many good things from people who had. When we walked in we were promptly seated and offered English menus. Business lunch comes with bread and an appetizer. There are several appetizers offered and 3 categories of main courses at 60, 70, and 80 shekels. The price of the main includes the bread and appetizer. There's also business lunch add ins available. 15 shekel for focaccia, 20 shekel for house wine or dessert. I got the chicken bruschetta as an appetizer while my friend got chicken liver in raisins and walnuts with a Cabernet sauce. Both were excellent and decent sized portions. For our main we both got lamb kabobs which were delicious served with tahini and rice. After lunch we were both stuffed but decided to splurge on dessert. I got the chocolate soufflé which was served with ice cream. Was certainly good but I think it could have been richer. My friend got the chocolate mousse which he loved. The service was fast and attentive and it was priced very reasonably for the quality and quantity of food. Would definitely recommend the business lunch. It's served between 12-5pm daily.

“Not tasty meat”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

I was recommened the "today's special" by the waiter. This was awfully tasting beef, with more fat that meat and not tasty sidedish (a single potato with maroni). My wife had a chicken steak, which was too dry and not very tasty. Not recommened.

“Overpriced Mediocre Food - Don't Waste Your Time Or Money Here”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

There are so many great restaurants in downtown jerusalem - please do not waste your time or money at Noya.

Very expensive and nothing special. Food was mediocre at best - tasteless, small portions, no presentation and very expensive

My duck was dry, small and tasteless. The chef added some kind of jam to maybe cover the dryness but it was not good at all. A tiny piece of yam and cold, tasteless mashed potatoes came as side dishes

The duck cost 140 NIS - around $40 dollars!!
Other diners with me ordered meat which was also tasteless and the rice side dish was just simple, dry white rice. The steak cost 135NIS - again almost $40 dollars for lousy, tasteless food

Do not waste your time eating at Noya - a simple steak house will be more than half the price and the food will be much much better. Even the street food in Jerusalem is much tastier than what you will over pay for at Noya

“Very good value!”
Reviewed 6 November 2013 via mobile

As a solo woman traveler it is often difficult to feel you get overlooked. I did not feel this at all at Noya. Not only was the service very nice and attentive but I thought the dinner prices were very reasonable and a great value. I would definitely go here again!
