Description: Red Heifer Steakhouse, established in 1999, is located in the heart of Jerusalem on the exclusive King David Street just across from the King David Hotel, David Citadel Hotel, Mamilla Mall and steps from the Old City. Located in the brand new King David's Crown, Red Heifer Steakhouse has two lovely dining rooms, one available for private events. The restaurant's expansive veranda is a fantastic space to bask in Jerusalem's charming atmosphere. Our dedicated culinary team brings a wealth of culinary knowledge and experience, infusing our traditional steakhouse menu with a modern sensibility. We open Sunday thru Thursday from 5:00 pm and Saturday nights (winter) for dinner service. Our attentive staff, convenient location and beautiful space makes Red Heifer Steakhouse the perfect venue to host your next event. Whether you are celebrating a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Birthday, Anniversary, Bris or Sheva Berachot, our team is committed to making your next event a successful and memorable one. Red Heifer is also proud to offer quality catering and gourmet butcher service for Shabbat and Holidays. We look forward to another exciting decade and to hosting you in our new location. “Overpriced”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

A restaurant that charges the prices that this one does needs to be special to justify the customer outlay. This restaurant does not. The service was excellent, but not any better than many other reasonably priced restaurants we had eaten at in Israel. The decor was pleasant, but nothing to "write home about". The food was OK, but again nothing outstanding. My advice, save your money and eat out somewhere else.

“Dissappointing”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

Mediocre food and service coupled with very high prices make this restaurant one I will not return to. They are fortunate to have a captive audience in the nearby hotel crowd.

“Fabulous”
Reviewed 8 January 2014

We were guests of the King David hotel, located very close to the Red Heifer and we were thrilled to go for a pleasant walk to the restaurant and not have to deal with unpleasant car rides and traffic. With pleasant staff, great ambiance and a varied menu, the Red Heifer made our party wanting to come back for more. We were thrilled with the great service and friendly staff who were available to us when needed and the food came in a timely manner. We left feeling well taken care of and extremely satiated. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for various reason, namely the ambiance, good service and delicious menu. Great atmosphere. Great location. Great overall. You won't be disappointed.

“Not our best experience in Jerusalem...”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

We brought a family of 5 here, walking by near our hotel. Four of us had decent meals, but one of us ordered a hamburger. Ordered Medium Rare. Brought Well Done (server agreed). Waited forever and next was absolutely inedibly rare (server also agreed). Finally ordered something else after everyone else was done eating. For a steak house, this is unacceptable - especially with the prices!
