We travel to Jerusalem twice yearly and now always stay here. It isn't a grand hotel by any standards but for a budget hotel with friendly staff it is a good choice. As with many of the less expensive hotels it is a short bus or taxi ride from the old city but you can walk in 20 minutes to the popular shops and restaurants in Emek Rafaim St ( closed on Shabbat ) and the newly renovated old railway station also with shops and restaurants ( open on Shabbat). Both are great places to go in the evening

Room Tip: There are some rooms with a balcony for a little extra ? The neighborhood is residential and in a si...

For travelers who aren't looking for luxury, the Eden Jerusalem Hotel is a great choice. We stayed for 3 nights, and booked 2 rooms: A family suite (for two adults and a child) and a standard double room for 2 adults. Upon check-in, we were told that the 2nd room had also been upgraded to a suite. Both rooms were quite comfortable, with nice beds, AC, living area separate from bedroom, and balconies. The rooms were basic (no frills), but very clean and big enough to feel comfortable and not cramped. The bathrooms could use updating (small showers, sink had no counter space), but we were satisfied overall.

The hotel provides a nice breakfast buffet in the mornings, and the front desk staff were all superb. Each person we dealt with was very friendly and accommodating, very knowledgeable about the city, and willing to provide advice and recommendations.

This is a good lower-budget choice for staying in Jerusalem. It's not right in the heart of things, but was a quick and easy drive to Center City and the Old City. Quiet at night-time, with plenty of street parking. Definitely recommended!

We stayed for A Jewish holiday for 2 night.
2 adults and 2 children.
The suite we took was very comfortable, clean, quiet and big.
Showers are a little small and outdated but not a big deal.
Breakfast was simple and nice.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the street are very nice and have great air. This is a VERY quiet street so don'...

This hotel is a hidden little gem. In the Talpiot area of Jerusalem you will find this small wonderful hotel. The rooms are nice, bathroom & shower is wonderful. Service is great and the free breakfast is fantastic. So many choices of salads, eggs, cheese, Humus, bread, its all fantastic. I have stayed at many places in Jerusalem and have rented apartments also. However this will be my first choice when I go back to Israel. The room also includes a small refrigerator which is great for keeping water and other little goodies. Bob Ullmann

Room Tip: I was on the 3rd floor (top floor) but I assume all the rooms are good.

I stayed the night during April, and was quite disapointed.
The rooms are old and very poorly decorated, the bathroom wasn't clean, The teli had a veryyyyy poor selection of channels, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.
True, the price is low- but as well it should be.

Room Tip: I'm not sure if there are double-beds, rather than two single beds put together... but insist on...
