We came here for breakfast and didn't want to leave....the hotel is absolutely STUNNING, and words can't do it justice. There was a wonderful buffet selection of delicious food, the linen and china were exquisite, and the staff were friendly and helpful and clearly wanted us to enjoy our visit (we did!)
(Since this IS a review, it is only fair to mention two very minor things that certainly didn't spoil OUR enjoyment but might be relevant to others. One is that there is no food cooked to order as part of the buffet breakfast, although I didn't realise this until hours later because we certainly didn't miss it with all the delicacies available! It is possible to add items from an a la carte menu, so that might solve the issue. The other is that although we were frequently offered more water, it would have been nice to be offered a second pot of tea (which happened at the end of the meal, but not earlier)).
I cannot recommend this experience highly enough, and have been telling everyone to go there - thank you Waldorf Astoria!:)More
