“Overpriced for what you get”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

The room was outstanding!!! Large, spacious, looking out on to their beautiful garden. The only issue is with the door to the bathroom, it offered little privacy. Breakfast was very good. Parking is a mess on the side streets and the hotel offers no parking whatsoever so if you're coming by car consider that. Their website made it seem like it was a full service hotel but it didn't appear that way when we checked in, there was no bar or anything like that, also half the amenities were closed (deck, hamman and pool). They don't cater well to English speakers.

Room Tip: Get the upper level rooms - the ones next to the reception desk

I spent one night at this gem hidden in the lovely hills surrounding Jerusalem and I strongly recommend.

We took a taxi from the centre of Jerusalem and drove all the way to the hotel, found ourselves in an oasis of peace and tranquillity. The hotel features a lovely open plan kitchen / restaurant / lobby and is decorated to the detail. We were upgraded to a suite free of charge, with a lovely vanity set and newly decorated bathroom. The hotel features a nice patio with Jasmin trees and roses, and a lovely terrace with spectacular view where you can sip a glass of wine.

Loved the staff who was so careful and nice with us. As we visited on Independence day, all restaurants were closed; nevertheless we were nvited to buy groceries and cook with the hotel staff, which turned out to be a lovely and original experience. As an evening gift, we were given some raw home made chocolate, which was just delicious.

Perfect for couples but also for solo travelling and friends.

Wow, amazing place! Tourists and local Israelis should stay here for a taste of modern Jerusalem. This was our second stay. Beautiful spacious rooms with modern styling against an old Jerusalem feel. I love the stone walls, dreamy gardens (iron gates, grapevines, fountains and plenty of secluded and view absorbing seating/couches/ benches and fabulous chefs kitchen/restaurant (you actually sit in the kitchen--but not like your moms kitchen. A gorgeous high ceiling, gourmet kitchen with a scattering of small tables on the opposite side of the chefs "island". Amazing.) the staff is welcoming and friendly--no pretentiousness despite the upscale accommodations. Luxurious bath amenities, robes, slippers. I didn't want to leave the room! But Ein Kerem is so beautiful and quaint so we had to hike around and check out houses, shops, restaurants and nature trails--all steps away from the hotel. Although the hotel has no parking there is a . free parking lot just down the hill

Amazing hotel we visited him on our last vacation. Not like any hotel in the Israel.
The hotel is situated in the picturesque village of Ein Kerem, alleyways and its monasteries and small cafés.
It is advisable to take your bicycle with a basket of pastries by Chef and have a picnic in the Woods.
One of the best experiences we've had in Israel, strongly recommended! for having the ... Jonathan and Marisa, New York
