“Just fantastic”
Reviewed 30 October 2012

Oh my! Lovely Israeli kebabs / bread / mezze. Exactly what we wanted - and most importantly, cooked over a charcoal fire. It's cheap and packed with local families. It's not your candlelit, plush sort of place. But trust me on the food!

“Amazing Bar Mitzva party”
Reviewed 16 October 2012

We were looking for a nice restaurant to have a Bar Mitzva lunch for our son. We called Laguta, and Angelica, Lagutea sounded good but they only had a room for 35 people available and we had way more people than 35, Angelica was very expensive and wanted to charge 500 shekels for Graygoose (vodka) bottle and 200 shekels a plate. may be a great restaurant but a little too pricey. We than took a chance on a restaurant called Grill Bar, it had no reviews on Tripadvisor and we were a little worried especially coming from Toronto (Canada) and can't see yor visit the place, we called Eran (the owner) and he was just great we booked the place and when we offered him a deposit he said No and he said he trusts us. On the Bar Mitzva day we called Eran from the Kotel and told him exactly how many people were coming. The experience was amaizing we had 48 guests and the food was delicous unlimited they just kept on bringing more so much lamb chicken beef and ground beef, we also had 6 orders of fish and it was great it felt like a wonderful simcha. all the food was completely Kosher with all the staff wearing a Kipah. I think the restaurant can hold upto 100 people and there is paid parking just down the street.

I would completely recommend this great place and also thank Eran and all the staff of Grill Bar...Toda Raba
