“Excellent Food and People Watching”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 November 2013

Try the fresh lemonade with mint, the chicken shish kabob and the delicious variety of salads that come with every meal. For a light snack share a small pizza, some baklava and coffee. On the Via Dolorosa and for people watching, the outdoor seating can't be beat!

“Convenient location with standard fares”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 September 2013 via mobile

Really pretty standard tourist-fare. Not exactly cheap but it wins on location. Lots of people watching and activities of the quarter.

“Awful customer service, attitude & overpriced”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2013

Just got back from Jerusalem. We stopped over here on our way back for a quick bite.

Honestly there's not really much positive to say about this place. Where do I start?

Prices - ridiculous eg 10NIS for small bottle of water

Food - we have small pizza (soggy) & fries (undercooked)

Customer service - appalling! We sent the water back given how pricey it was & the owner clearly didn't like that. When asked for the bill he got it wrong & he got upset when we asked him to clarify it with us. My friend was very close to smacking him when he started getting mouthywith us "come on then hit me"

He was equally abnoxioud to a group of backpackers who had entered & asked him about the prices or sonething.

Remember folks you've been warned.

“A great no nonsense restaurant located at the Via Dolorosa”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2013

Anwar the owner of the restaurant is a great person with loads of humour.
You can eat great pizzas, falafel and shawarma. He has a nice range of drinks some made on the spot.
There is a free WIFI, toilets and you can sit inside and outside.
It is a family business, founded by Anwar's dad during the Jordanian time and many of the family's members give a helping hand in running the place.
I love eating their falafel .and vegetarians but also carnivores can feel at home.
If you are looking for a genuine local restaurant, this is your choice.
