Don't shy away from the dinner buffet. It is outstanding, and the selections are too numerous to mention.

Room Tip: ....just ask.

Being a Platinum Royal Ambassador member our rooms have been upgraded to club rooms + access to the club lounge.

Our general feeling is that the hotel is not so clean, and from our point of view needs urgent renovation :

1) Our rooms were not so clean as we would expect. I could write my name in the dust on the desk. The cleaninglady arrived very late in the afternoon. I cannot image that she spent a lot of time in our room (making up the bed and changing the towels...only 1 towel per person for evening and morning shower)). I'm quite sure that the bathroom was not cleaned.
Used drinking glasses were not changed. Dust on a lot of places.
The bed : on the side of my wife there were 2 blankets on the mattress (a mattress protection blanked and a normal blanked). On my side of the bed only one blanked directly on the matras...this is not very clean and a not done.
A lot of noice on the corridor, even during night hours. You can hear the guests from nextdoor (noice isolation is unsufficient).

No fresh fruit on arrivalday

2) Club lounge :
Not so clean is also here our main experience. Fingertprints everywere especially were the food was presented or the fridge. No variation in food selection.
Vetgetables are not so fresh.
Computerkeyboards in the club....so dirty.
Lack on information : most of the time there was nobody of the personel present. No explanation about wich wireless netwok to use, about how to take the food and drinks, no conversation at all.
No alternative for saturday when apparently the lounge is closed.

Good point : the very nice view over the city.

3) Swimmingpool : the seats (especially the yellow ones) have to replaced asap. They are dirty and most of them are not working anymore (setting of the head positioning). So many garbage on the ground (empty bottles, plastic glasses : don't people use here a garbage disposer?)

4) General the staff does not provide so much information by itself. Basic hotel information has to be required by the guest himself (no hotel guidebook available on the room).
When we arrived at the hotel on wednesday nobody helped us with the luggage. The guy on the door (entrance on the parking) was just starring to us...and did not offered any help.

5) Hotel parking. The parking is overloaded and hard to find an empty space even as hotelguest.

Conclusion:
The hotel needs renovation urgenly.
Has to work on his communication towards guests.
Has to pay much more attention on cleanness everywere.

I would not recommend this hotel to my friends or businesspartners.

Have been to other Crowne Plaza hotels and it does not match.
Too long waiting for elevators (we stayed on 15th floor)
The pool water was opalescent, could not see 1-2 meters away under water.
Breakfast was less than in other Israeli hotels.

Room Tip: Ask for Eastward looking rooms on floor 10 or higher

We as a family stayed for 1 nights using our priority club reward points for 2 rooms . we r a platinum member and we got the club room, which was clean and nice , but not breakfast or entering the club lounge .
we have been in other cp hotels and usually got a breakfast coupon .
at the pool we did not get any towels because they did not have one , although it was early in the morning and the pool was empty.
Overall it is a basic hotel and not closer to the old city

I think the rooms in this property vary. I had a wonderful room, modern, comfortable, great view.. I was on the 14th floor. I do remember once staying on a lower floor and in a room that wasn't quite as nice.

I believe I may have been upgraded to a slightly better room.

Overall great stay.. I didn't try the breakfast, was in a rush.

It's located right across of the central bus station. it would be a long walk to old city but a short taxi ride.

Overall very happy Price wash't bad either I paid $200 for single.. for July not too bad

The rooms are clean and well kept. Balconies have nice views of the supreme court, new Jerusalem bridge and the foreign ministry. This location is ideal for government work or visiting officials. Laundry service is quick, efficient and reasonably priced for a hotel.
King sized beds are actaully two double beds pushed together (which is common in Israel). Breakfast is excellent and I particularly enjoyed the pastries. There are restaurants and bars inside the hotel as well as gift shops. If you want to party downtown or visit the holy sides you can either walk for about 20 minutes or take a short cab ride (10 to 15 dollars max). Very safe and upscale area of Jerusalem.

I would never stay at this hotel again. Given I am a priority club platinum elite member, they apparently upgraded me to a club floor. The carpets were dusty, sheets stained, sink drain didn't work and poorly painted. On the plus side, food at friday night sabbath meal was great, as well as the breakfast we ordered.
