I checked my parents and aunt into this hotel yesterday afternoon. People had been queueing for well over an hour to check in and I had to fight to get my parents checked in as they were rushing to get ready for a family event that evening (they had arrived with what should have been more than enough time to get ready). The check-in system appeared to me to be non-existent. I've checked into many hotels and it's been a mere formality to register and collect the already prepared keys - here there was nothing prepared and ready and the staff appeared to be searching for rooms on the computer. The check-in process took a good 30 minutes. The room, when they got it, was not particularly clean, and looked very "tired" with scuffed walls, noisy air conditioning and lights that didn't work in the bathroom. There was no information about the hotel or who to phone to get a repair man. Don't housekeeping staff have a checklist to follow when they are preparing a room for incoming guests? the repairman himself came quickly but was not able to repair the lights and they had to ask him to leave so that they could get ready but this is something that should have been dealt with prior to any guests arriving. When my husband tried to get the car out of the carpark we were totally blocked in by a bus. No manager was available to deal with it and the "minute" I was told to wait turned into over 15 minutes by which time someone else was able to move a car in front allowing him to get out. On the plus side, my parents had a fairly good night's sleep in what they said were comfortable beds. They told me that the dining room had a good breakfast buffet and good service but it was fairly empty so that shouldn't have been a problem. I personally won't be going to stay there on my next visit to Jerusalem and in a city with an abundance of hotels, no-one needs to choose this one!

Room tip: choose a different hotel!

Stayed here for a week. Room was very small and room refreshments were never refilled and they never gave new water bottles. Breakfast buffet was good with Koser meal, so no meat. Hotel staffs were very helpful. Check in check out process was flawless and quick.

We very much enjoyed the renovated rooms and business lounge, the kids had fun in the warm up pool.
The fact that there is a new management staff is evident everywhere you look.
Tony from guest relations warmly welcomed us and took care of all our needs.
We are looking forward to our next visit

Large hotel that badly needs renovation with very old elevators. Room & toilet not very clean & need an upgrade. Sheets are not replaced daily, shower curtain musty, lights busted & had to repeatedly call housekeeping for clean towels. Complimentary water ONLY on your first day. Breakfast of veggies & cold bread (no oven toaster for heating) not for tourists & only locals will appreciate. Unfriendly, arrogant staff. Got no benefits as an IHG Gold Elite member. Too pricey for quality of service & experience. Tour coordinator Benny was the hotel's only saving grace - very nice & helpful.

Room tip: Opt for other hotels to get your money's worth

The amount of work this hotel needs is huge, both in facilities and staff.
When initially arrived we checked in, did not really received instructions regarding checking out, hotel facilities, services, etc..
Went to our room which was unfit for guests (broken drawers, stains on carpet all over, red stains in sheets, dirty wall, broken chair, dirty , dirty bed cover, noisy electrical box, dirty balcony, mold in shower).

We were handled by a very nice woman who moved us to a completely different room and added free breakfasts, new room which was fairly ok, but the age of the hotel showed still (wind howling through the doors notch, and generally old furnitures), we were happy with this room but problems kept coming:

Breakfast was awful, no places to sit - arrived around 9:30 and most people seems to have eaten already and the place was a mess, very tired veggies, cold and dry bread and stuff that looks not edible, overall there was no verity at all and to me it looked like lots of recycled food.

The pool facility is descent but staff was not very welcoming (explaining about towels, etc.. although we stated it's our first time), had to go back to take towels, life guard was not doing anything, most of the time not even sitting in his position but smoking in the back, one of the metal hooks that is holding the pool separator is full of rust and is touching the water.

Wanted to order beer to the room but the phone buttons were not working: room service, guest service, pool, etc...
You can only dial 0 and the employee will transfer you to where you need (according to her)
Reached the place where you can order, in the menu beer is listed for 15 NIS, I asked for it and they told me it's 20,
Eventually they agreed to give a discount.

The next day we came back from the pool and got locked out, had to go back down with wet clothing and wait for the card to be reactivated,
In the last day - same issue: went all the way up to the room in wet clothes and had to go back down due to locked cards, according to the receptionist reason is unknown.

Lastly you should know that this hotel holds a large array of cellular antennas, and perhaps other kinds as well on its roof, it's visible and right on top of the high floors, personally for me it's troubling.

You should also note that in some places (like Google maps) parking shows as free but it costs 50 NIS per 24H.
