I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation. It’s in a great location, with a charming view of the old city. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is helpful, the pool (while cold) makes for a nice break from the afternoon heat and the crowds, and the hamam is a real treat.

A few of the other things that make this hotel particularly worthwhile are the quiet rooms, despite the central location, and the really wonderful spread they put out for breakfast. If the weather permits, you can even have breakfast outdoors on the patio. It’s a charming place all the way around.

We stayed at the Mount Zion Hotel for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. It's located just south of the Old City of Jerusalem (10 minute walk to the Mt. Zion Gate). The room was large, had a comfortable bed and nice furniture. Our room looked out on a court yard and was very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing coupons for nearby restaurants. The pool is lovely. They served wonderful breakfasts, including squeeze-your-own fresh orange juice. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel with an amazing view of Jerusalem, great location and 5 min from the old city.
After long day of walking we enjoyed the fantastic SPA with a Turkish Hamam.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Balcony and view to the old city

#306 room was worn and old. Bathrom shower tiles had some mold. Old caked dirt in the corners. Ask for a rennovated room.

We stayed here in April (I've stayed before too) and it is a clean, friendly, comfortable hotel with stunning views of the Old City of Jerusalem.

It's not a 5 star and doesn't pretend to be, but it's a really good 4 Star and better value than most other hotels in that category.

The superior rooms are all in the older section of the hotel where no two rooms are the same, where there are high ceilings and REAL character in each room (could improve pillows though).

Well located to walk to the Old City and near a street (Emek Rafaim) with lots of nice shops and restaurants.

Lovely pool and grounds too.

Room Tip: Stay in the older section of the hotel.

the hotel is old and leaves a lot to be desired. the water pressure in the shower was so weak i wasn't able to wash my hair. the bathrooms are old, housekeeping did a mediocre job of cleaing prior to my arrival (there were remnants of previous guests' leftovers in my room), no washcloths without asking multiple times. my room was dark even with the shades open. no wifi reception at the pool. not a great location if you want to go to the old city. i didn't like the linens either. overall, not a great hotel. the food was good at each meal.
