We booked a two night stay with our baby girl. Some parts of the hotel are going through renovation which nobody bothered to mention when we booked.

Part of these renovations turn out to include the central air-conditioning system which meant the entire hotel is either cooled or heated, according to what the hotel management decides. While nights in Jerusalem might get cold, our particular room was terribly hot both during the night and day.

We were offered a fan and a maintenance guy opened up the window which turned out to be a bad idea during the night as the street below was awfully noisy and parties with loud music took place just across it. We didn't get any sleep. Our baby girl in the worn down crib we got didn't get any sleep either. Or a shower, since we didn't get a cork with her bath.

Another thing that didn't help our sleep was that the mini-bar fridge was installed in a tiny closet near our bed, making tremendous amounts of noise without even keeping the stuff inside cold.

For our a second night we were offered by Natalie the customer relations manager another room with the same A/C turned on heating only and facing another part of the street which we didn't want to try.

What turned out to be extremely helpful to our decision to leave was the maintenance guy who opened up the window the day before. When we passed by him on our way to breakfast he asked us gloating how did we sleep with open window.

Shame that for 330 USD a night in low-season nobody cares to tell you all that when you book, or offer any compensation when you checkout early sleepless and bitter...

We stayed 6 nights at this hotel and were very pleased with our room. We booked through Orbitz so got a small room on the 3rd floor. The two twin King bed was just that...two twins pushed together to form a larger bed. We had free bottled water and chocolates waiting for us when we checked in but didn't have the evening bed turn down service. The breakfast buffet was OK, lots of cheeses, fish, eggs and made to order pancakes, waffles or omelets along with lots of pastries and breads. The location was great. Walking distance to the Old City or a cheap cab ride. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only down side was when tour groups arrived and checked out. Small, small elevators and only three of them. We would probably choose this hotel again but have no plans to return to Israel.

Room Tip: Be sure to check the size of your room. Third floor had a lot of street noises.

A great hotel in the heart of the city. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, on arrival I found all staff to be very helpful, room was very good with a massive ensuit, all things considered this hotel is spotless. Breakfast was grand and worth the price. The Old city is a 15 minute walk one way and the Ben yehuda/Jaffa st. 15 minutes the other way,the first station is also a 10 minute walk away. Got a taxis from airport. Ben yehuda is a very busy street, we asked for a room away from the noise and got a side room and never heard a thing. If you are looking for a very good hotel in the centre of Jerusalem the Dan panorama ticks all boxes

We went for a long weekend and can't fault this hotel. The staff are great and very helpful and friendly. The room overlooked the Old city and was priceless but what else would you expect from a central location in the city.
The room was spacious, clean and decorated in soft cream which was very relaxing. The bathroom was fantastic and there were lots of little extras such as spare toothbrushes, lotions and potions, even sewing kits and shoe shine pads!!!
In the evening the beds were turned with a little gift of chocolates in little gold bags left on the beds.
The 9th floor bar was lovely with a terrace with amazing views of the city, if you go up the little winding staircase you end up in a cupola with panaromic views on the 11th floor
I can't fault this hotel. The only addition would be 24 hours room service but to be honest its no big deal to go down to the 1st floor for free tea and coffee or up to the bar in the evening.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Service was great, hotel staff worked hard to meet our every need. Rooms were very nice, even though they are in the middle of a renovation. Highly recommend as a 4 star hotel. The buffet had one of the best varieties that we have experienced while in Israel. Salads, different types of meats, fantastic desserts and so many different types of bread that I lost count. Only a few blocks away from Old Town Jerusalem, well within walking distance or you can take a cab for less than $10.
