We stayed at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem for five days
This is not our first time in Israel, but this is the first time in the hotel and it was amazing
The weather was excellent
The location of the hotel is great.
We enjoyed the service, the waiter remembered after one day which wine we like
We are vegetarians, at dinner every day we had different tasty fish
We walked a lot in the city and the reception staff gave us excellent tips for trips in Jerusalem
Thanks to all of the wonderful staff

The staff was very friendly and professional. The location is excelent.
Breakfast was average and lunch was good quality, but lunch was very expensive for buffet.
The hotel does not give the feeling of cleanliness in rooms.

We just returned from a 10 day trip to Israel which included 4 days in Jerusalem. We were with a group and were warmly greeted by the staff at the Dan Panorama. We ate both breakfasts and dinners at the hotel each night. We got everything and more at these scrumptious buffets. Our family especially liked the honeycomb at breakfast, not to mention chocolate pastries, cheeses, salads, fresh made omelets, and more! The dinner was just a fabulous with a variety of meats, breads, salads and desserts. The selection was endless!

Our room was terrific!! We had a suite with a view over the city. I loved the marble bathroom with built in stereo and delightful toiletries!

However, what made our stay over the top was the manager of the executive lounge, Ibrahim! Besides having a scrumptious spread of wonderful cheeses, fruits, nuts, sushi, desserts, lattes and bottled Cokes, we were treated like royalty! The lounge has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere with a fabulous terrace overlooking the city. But even more than that was that Ibrahim on his day off took our family on a tour of old Jerusalem that we didn't see on our group tour. It was amazing!! We went down back streets, ate amazing treats in a cafe (I can't even pronounce what they were, but I called one "Bud Bud" and I think I made Ibrahim laugh a bit.) My daughter's boyfriend, played soccer with a few local kids and we went shopping in a store owned by Ibrahim's cousin. Great place for Roman glass, rugs and more! Before heading back to the hotel we even got a peak in the King David Hotel. Very nice, but if we were to stay there, we would request Ibrahim to take care of us!! Ibrahim has a gift for hospitality and you will find in a few short days him to be a friend too! Thanks Ibrahim!

Room Tip: Executive suite is amazing!

Good sized room, TV and bathroom - with a shower over the bath that did not work properly and floor tiles that could do with a decent scrub. Had a good illuminated shaving mirror, tea and coffee making facilities, and the usual toiletries.
We had to get an over mattress put on our bed as the 'matrimonial' bed provided was just two twins pushed together. The free wifi was poor and pushed you towards a pay option.
Breakfast was very good and gluten free bread was provided on request.
Lifts (elevators) were poor, especially on the Sabbath.
Staff were helpful at the desk and in the dining room.

Stayed for 2 nights, excellent service, nice room and best breakfast in the area. Good location, walking distance from the old city, close to mamilla shopping center, comfortable parking and in a walking distance from the great restaurants of Jerusalem.
Worthwhile.

My wife and I recently spent 5 days at the Dan Panorama during our visit to Jerusalem. It is in a wonderful location, a short 5 minute walk to the Old City, an excellent breakfast each morning with many choices and fresh food, the rooms are nice sized and quiet with upscale furnishings. We asked the front desk to convert our twin beds into a King and it was done that morning. Everything is very modern and clean throughout the hotel. Just around the corner is the King David Hotel that is interesting to visit, and across the street is the YMCA hotel that you must see the design of the tower.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The shower in the bathroom would not drain well. With two people taking showers, the second person showered in standing water from the first person. I called the front desk on three different occasions. Each time they said they would send someone to fix the problem, but it never improved. I believe someone from maintenance probably came, because we had a problem with the safe when we checked in and the fixed that issue immediately. Other than the shower it was a very nice hotel. The views from the front and upper floors are remarkable, although there are few rooms with those views.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of Jerusalem, if you can afford it.
