This is good Hotel but expensive you can get more for your money with low cost prices at Crown Plaza hotel In Jerusalem at the western side
I know these 2 hotels very well and I don't have or get any benefit from Crown Plaza
The problem in Crown Plaza is that they are charging for parking and it is not fair .
Moshe

Room Tip: Asked for high floor with view to old city (they will charged you )

This place was a wonderful place for Jerusalem! The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and it had a lot better food than what most breakfast buffets serve! It was extremely close to the light rail, so it was easy to go back and forth from the old city! When I come back to Israel, I will definitely stay with this company again!
Thank you!

This hotel had great rooms, great food, great staff, and really great views. Everything was excellent. It is definitely worth the money!!! The roof top views and design of the hotel are unique.
A great place near the public transit.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of Jerusalem and the best!!!

Over the years that we have visited the Dan Jerusalem nee Regency nee Hyatt Regency Jerusalem (built in the 1980's) we have observed various signs of use overtake spots here and there at the Hotel. So, we were very happily surprised this visit when we were directed to our room on a fully renovated and redecorated floor. The room itself was also re-done from floor to ceiling including all of the bathroom fixtures. (With a smile he adds:) There was also a brochure on the bed detailing the six different kinds of pillows available.

I must add that our room on floor 5-A allows an exceptional view of Jerusalem

The Dan remains a pleasant oasis for a break especially in these difficult times.

We were happily upgraded to an executive suite making it a very comfortable 4 day stay. We felt very safe and calm even though we arrived during another troubling time in Israel.
The rooms are very quiet. Even though we were next to the lift and near the pool. I Did not hear any disturbances. The pool is spotless and inviting. A life guard is on duty the whole time the pool is open. The buffet breakfast is more than plentiful. It is extravagant. Fresh, lots of variety and so hard to choose what to limit myself to. All staff in the breakfast buffet area are friendly and curtious. Special mention must go to Natalie Shalom, guest relations, who introduces herself to the guests in the morning wanting to help out in any way she can. She gives lots of appropriate suggestions according to the guests requirements. Ibrahim, who was in attendance the days we used the Carmel Lounge, is also polite and very helpful to make sure our time in the lounge is relaxing to our needs.
A great stay at the Dan.

Room Tip: The executive room upgrade.
