Loved this place. It had a little bit of everything, a bar, restaurant, and the most amazing breakfast ever. I've travelled all over the world and I think the food I ate in Israel was the best, those breakfasts were amazing.

Thee place was safe and close to everything, night life, the market, etc.they call the shuttle or taxi to the airport if you want and we loved the Prima so much we stayed at the prima in Eilat too.

I had to stay there one night alone. As a single, the room price was the lowest I found on the web for a nice hotel, in a decent neighborhood, priced as as a single. The location is very central, and cannot be beat. Overall, an excellent value for the money.

We had 2 "suite" like rooms, one with an alcove with a pull out twin and twin bed, and one with a sitting area with a pull out twin, - NOT INTERCONNECTING but it was a great location. Shimon, the King of Omlettes made fresh eggs for everyone and was a great ambassador at socializing with the hotel guest as he poured and flipped, he really was the highlight of breakfast!! 15 minute walks to the Rova, Mamilla Mall, Ben Yehuda and right at the edge of Rechavia where you can get american style manicures ($25 though). Down the block from a great playground and around the corner from the new Cheese and Tomatoes (great and cheap pasta, pizza and salads). Food was usual but plentiful buffets, would definitely stay there again. Parkign for our rental car in lot behind hotel for 30 shek a day (about $9). Had to pay $125 for a weeks worth of wifi, but there were MANY package options for WIFI

This was my first time staying at the Prima Kings. Previously I stayed at Prima Royale which I liked but this was more centrally located and we easily could get to The Mammilla Mall, Ben Yehuda Street and The Old City with just a few blocks walking.

Service was good. I liked the dining hall but the menu was not a diverse as when I stayed at Prima Royale. Room was adequate and again my main reason for staying here was for the location and cost. If you want a decent hotel at a reasonable price and easy to get to as well as have taxi's take you and drop you off, you will like this place. This was my 4th time in Jerusalem.

I have stayed at the Prima Kings for 9 years in a row and I again have reservations for July 2011. The staff is the best!! Always polite, helpful, curtious, and really do their best at all times. The breakfast is just wonderful and amazing. The location is near all sites and walking distanfcde. I just love everything about the hotel. Exccept: one suggestion please: I remember years ago when there was no overhead music in the lobby and dining room. Visitors need a place to sit, read, relax when out of their rooms and still in the hotel. And it would be nice in the early morning to have quiet by still waking up. It is home away from home afterall. Otherwise I highly recommend the Prima Kings Jerusalem to everyone and I thank staff and management for an extremely well run hotel.

I was a guest for nearly two weeks during a recent business trip. During that time, my colleagues and I experienced the full breadth of the hotel's services.

PROS: It's located at the center of a five-way intersection, close to all of Jerusalem's major attractions. Rooms look to have been updated within the last two years, with ultramodern sinks and TVs. Business services are good, with ample meeting space and attention paid to details of organizing events. And the hotel restaurant is actually worth eating at; the breakfast buffet contains a seemingly never-ending selection of Israeli salads, entrees, fruits, vegetables, and cheeses.

CONS: Everything feels kinda old. The elevators, which are cramped, are relics of a decade that ended a long time ago. My room on the sixth floor consistently smelled of cigarette smoke, although the hotel has a smoking ban. (And you have to pay -- handsomely -- for wireless internet.) The carpeting and details felt outdated, and the overall feeling in the hotel was '80s, and it deserves a freshening.

With new (albeit more expensive), modern hotels opening up just down the block, I would unfortunately think twice before booking on my own.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony on a high floor.
