As a young couple we used to calculate our weekly expenses when we planned a trip to Jerusalem for Saturday's branches here, that was a great culinary and culturally experience which I still remember and appreciate.
Our work team even get a chance to spend several days here for a course guided by a Swedish guy (there is a Swedish historical part here as well as Jordanian, American...I sure recommend to read that if u wish...). luckily enough our boss at that time had great style :-).
Later on we used to dine here mainly during spring and summer at noontimes time for lunch in the patio yard, beautiful!
Last time I've decided to get the " 5 o'clock" dish, tea and gorgeous tiny sandwiches, fresh strawberries & cream served so beautifully, that was such a treat!.Go for it if u have a chance.
If u r staying overnights I recommend the beautiful , quiet oldies rooms with the high ceilings decorates so beautiful and authentically ( such as the variety of " pasha" rooms, costly yet special), preferably facing the patio yard/garden ,I personally care less for swimming pool view especially in such a place.
Visit to this hotel takes u away from the hectic streets of east Jerusalem within seconds toward such a special experience.
