I have had the opportunity to stay in many hotels in Israel, as I travel there for business, The Inbal, Jerusalem makes me feel that I am home. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with a smile. George and Nurit to name just some of the managerial staff are proactive in insuring that my accommodations are always in order. Many times, I am traveling with several others and all my colleagues received the same warm attention. Breakfast is a true delight and the executive lounge is an extra treat

wonderful experience arriving from Australia at 1am. Room was clean , with great courtyard view.breakfast buffet delicious as is Lobby restaurant, particularly accommodating for children.
This was a trip to visit family and location was perfect for everything. Nurit, the front desk manager and her team were extremely helpful.
Our grandchildren loved visiting us and are looking forward to us coming again in summer to use the pool.

The Inbal is the warmest hotel in Jersusalem. Nurit, George, Yaniv and the managerial staff make sure our rooms and accomadations are perfect. Sami, Mussa, Ada, Veronica and Osi greet us every morning with big smiles and of course, omelettes and coffee made just the way we like. From Kfir in security greeting us at the main entrance to Etty making sure the catering is delicious, everyone on staff at the Inbal aims to please. And they succeed!

Nurit the front desk manager was extremely helpful and very courteous. Check in was easy, as was checkout. The only negative comment is the fact that the construction on the 9th floor closed the executive lounge a and the replacement lounge was a poor replacement.

The first day I arrived the handle of my suitcase was broken, hanging at a dangerous angle. I could neither fix it, nor break it off. I asked the hotel bellboy to help, he arranged for hotel maintenance to arrive. Not only did they fix it, but they did it seamlessly - there was no sign internally that the repair had been made, and the repair was stronger than the original! Thank you Inbal, well done!

Room Tip: Make sure your room isn't above the entrance on level 4, nor near the air conditioning plants!

The Inbal is located very conveniently just 10 minute walk or so from the old city. The rooms are average, very clean, just nothing super special. Room service was prompt, and service was overall very good. Breakfast is buffet, with all that you would expect. They don't really advertise it, but you can have lattes, cappuccinos, etc. if you just ask. No extra charge.

We had two massages in our rooms since the spa was closed for renovation. When I hesitated about getting the 1 1/2 hour massage because of the price (something like $140) the woman said "Oh, no, there is a discount" and then mentioned something about us being non-residents of Israel...bottom line, the 1 1/2 hour massage (which was excellent, given by Aron) was only $92...

NOTE NOTE NOTE! We decided one day we would go to Jordan for the day, maybe Petra. We did not have visas. So the driver took us to the Allenby Bridge, were after quite some time waiting, we were told that we could not cross there because of the visa issue. But we could cross up north, about 1 hour further. So we drove to that crossing. HOURS AND HOURS later, we crossed into Jordan. By now it was so late, we just went to the Jordan side of the Dead Sea, to the Movenpick, and went to the beach (gorgeous hotel). I took from 9 am leaving Jersualem until 4 pm to arrive at the Movenpick!! We spent an hour or so there, and then went back...arriving in Jerusalem at 8 pm! So this is all doable, but TAKES TIME.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the courtyard, on the 4th floor. It was quiet. There are rooms with view...
