Good location near Old City in Jerusalem. About a 20 minute walk or 10 minute taxi ride to main gate of Old City depending on traffic. Adequate room with breakfast included in price. The hotel staff was very friendly & accommodating. A special standout was doorman Nael. Great restaurant across the street & down in Old Train Depot if looking for close nightcap.

Cozy boutique hotel- located close to the Old City in Jerusalem and close to Schindler's grave.

A little pricey...

If you like to walk then this is a great location- if you're older and can't walk as much then this location isn't AS central as the Dan Panorama.

Nice breakfast in the morning- a huge variety so everyone has a choice. Yummy cappuccino machine that can be refilled many times via personal cup.

Cool/modern room- very clean

Friendly service.

Visited about 1 year ago and THINKING OF STAYING HERE AGAIN THIS YEAR... AUGUST.

This a nice hotel with a good location and friendly staff. It's about a 20 minutes walk from the old city. (A cab will not always be faster, because there's too much traffic most of the time). Staff in the lobby, bar and breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was "medium", a good variety of bread and lots of cheeses and (raw) vegetables, but no meat. (I had better breakfasts in other Dan hotels). The room was rather small, but ok. Beware that not all rooms have a view to the old city. In the restaurant you have a small selection of rather basic meals. In total the price quality ratio is ok. But I always wonder why Wifi is not included in the price these days.

This hotel is located close to Old city and to the German Colony, where one can find a lot of good restaurants. The rooms are good and spacious. The breakfast was mediocre. They tried to upcharge us at the check-out, claiming that the price went up, but that was settled after I showed my reservation printout that showed the price I reserved the hotel for. All in all, I would stay at that hotel again.

Dear EugeneChicago,
We are happy to read that you enjoyed our hotel location; close to Jerusalem’s favorite leisure and entertainment spots.
Very occasionally some errors are made when entering the details in the system; it is always great when guests can produce the correct information for us to amend. We would hope that the team treated you well and the issue seemed to be taken care of just as quickly as it arose.

Thank you for your kind words once again and looking forward to welcome you back.

I stayed here for three nights earlier this month. I had a room facing the old city. Marvellous location. Great service. Excellent value all round. Easy access into the old city - either a cheap short cab ride of a 20 minute walk (I always walked). I'd stay again. Its not a boutique in my opinion but its just a great hotel

Stayed at this hotel 4 nights during a Christian Group Tour to Israel. This hotel is one of the hotels that has joined the "boutique" craze in Israel. The hotel has obviously been updated recently. It is clean and comfortable and our suite had a great view of Mt. Zion. The Old City is walking distance (about 10 minutes) and there is local shopping close by. The dining room was good, though at time the food seemed to have been cooked many hours before (even when we were there for an early dinner). The WiFi was great in the lobby. Purchasing the in room WiFi was 70 shekels (about $18) for 24 hours. Not only was that expensive but the signal wasn't strong enough to Skype with our kids. In fairness, when I complained to the front desk they removed the charge from my bill.

What defines a hotel as 'Boutique' ? well not Dan Boutique in my opinion. Not that it really matters as the DB is a well priced small hotel which is well located for the Old City...a 15/20 minute walk or a short taxi drive. Staff friendly and accomodating; well furnished lobby and spacious bedrooms. Clean and modern surroundings. Bathroom needs a little loving as it is looking a little tired but unusually and most welcome there was an opening window! Breakfast was plentiful and with variety. The staff only to pleased to assist with coffees and kitchen orders ie omlettes ertc. Worth noting that this is a 'milky' hotel so dont expect cold meats or sausages at the breakfast bars or any meat on the room service menu.
