I stayed at the Olive Tree for 3 nights. I was a member of a tourist group. Our group was well accommodated. The hotel provided wake up calls, luggage assistance, concierge, meeting rooms and a buffet. The room was nice. Good size. Mini frig. A small lock-safe. Our bathroom was not very clean and we had no face cloths. I ate at the Buffet everyday for both breakfast and dinner. I didn't really like the food. The buffet did have a large selection; I just didn't find it tasty or well cooked. However, the dessert chief was wonderful. An amazing and yummy display of cakes, pies, tarts, etc. There is a separate bar/café on site with a menu. Cozy atmosphere. The hotel's location is great. Safe neighborhood. It is near other large hotels with restaurants and shops. It is a short walk from the hotel to the local shopping area. A 15 min walk to old Jerusalem. I saw a comment regarding that there is no pool. The hotel has a contract with another place for guest to have free gym and pool use. The hotel has Wi-Fi but it is really only for lobby use. It is very expensive to use it in the room. I read or watched TV at night. Our room had a nice tv and it had a good cable selection- English, Russian, Hebrew Movies and shows. I would recommend this hotel because it met my needs and the staff was professional and helpful.
