The hotel and the rooms are very nice. The food is average. The hotel is an easy walk to the Damascus Gate. The staff is friendly and courteous. The hotel is much smaller than the hotel next door. The hotel does not have a swimming pool.

My wife and I stayed overnight at the Olve Tree Hotel, our accommodation being arranged by Thomson Cruises as part of a two-day trip to Israel on 25-26 June 2014.We found the accommodation was good, bedroom and bathroom spotless.Staff were very helpful and food was good. The evening meal had plenty of choices but the morning breakfast was somewhat limited in choices available. I would recommend this hotel and it is well placed to explore the city of Jerusalem.

We stayed at the Olive Tree for 1.5 nights ( had to leave at midnight the 2nd night for our flight out). Upon arrival with our tour group, our luggage was quickly delivered to our room. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Had 2 dinner buffet style meals which were both well stocked and delicious. The bathroom tub shower was a little awkward to me having only a half length glass divider, thus making the floor a little wetter than it needed to be after a shower. WiFi is available in the rooms, but it is free in the lobby only. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our group and its needs.

Hotel is conveniently located. Food was very good. Lobby area is nice and meeting rooms convenient. Rooms are adequate and bathroom was small and shower did not really close. Nice gift shop on premises.

Room Tip: Bathrooms were small.

I stayed in this hotel over 5 nights. It is a decent hotel. The room met my expectations. There is a small refrigarator where you can keep your water, etc cold (it is not filled up by the management). Basic toiletary is supplied in the bathroom (no hair conditioners though). The shower worked well. It was OK in terms of cleanliness but I would not sya "spotless". The furniture needs renewal. Free internet connection was available only at the lobby area. The berakfast included variable sorts of cheese, olives, fruits, etc. The shop right next to the main entrence had Dead Sea products at reasonable prices (I have been to Dead Sea region and the famous production company there, so I can compare the prices). It is posssible to walk to Damascus Gate of the Old Town in 10-15 minutes. There is also a light-train line right behind the hotel building (on the main street) which is very convenient and cheap (7 Isralei Shekels (2 USD)for one trip)

Room Tip: I do not think the rooms differ a lot
