Location is perfect but a lot of hotels are in the center of Jerusalem. It was noisy and rooms were dirty. Especially bath was horrible. Even toilets.Personel was friendly and helpful however it cant be make a nice hotel. How much money could be a bath valve price? I hope they will renovate asap because they have a lot of competitiors in the city center.

I Stayed in the Jerusalem Hotel for one whole Week with a Group of 30 Students of all Ages. I'm a Tour Guide.
I remembered the Hotel very different for 2 years ago. They did Renovation and I almost didn't recognize it. The Rooms are beautiful. not very big, but comfortable, pleasent and clean. The Service, especially at the Reception and Restaurant was really great. Nice People that did everything for my Group.
The Location is the best Part. It's right in the Center of Jerusalem. 10 Minutes walk from the Old City and 1 Minute (maybe less) to the New City Center - All the Shops, Bars and Restaurants.
I recommend this Hotel very much.

best location to reach old and new Jerusalem city. satisfactory breakfast , small but neat room. However , the personnel behaviour should be improved they do all you need without a smile or any gesture of hospitality.
The present situation of the entrance and the lobby ı hope will be ok once the renovation work is complete.
when first arrived ı need to stay a while to find out the entrance and finally seek help from passerbys .
ı will definetly stay at the same hotel again while visiting J' salem.

We had a tour group stay at this hotel in mid Sept. 2012 and I would not go back unless it has new staff, decent towels, provides the amenities it says it has on the web-site, upgraded elevators, new carpet in hallways, finished renovation and better food. One person out of the four desk personnel was friendly, the others always considered it a battle to deflect any help you needed. Two small, well used towels that seemed starched were provided for each room - no more and don't ask for more. People got stuck on the slow small elevators. The head food service manager, Omar was a gem and really the only redeeming value as far as personnel. The location was perfect but even though we paid for breakfast more and more of our group went out to shops in the morning for their meal. The rooms are very small and their electrical renovation was not quite right at we blew three electrical converters. We were given one hair dryer to share with our floor - college dorm anyone?

Room Tip: We were on 8th floor and street noise was terrible.

Great location- 15 min walk to Old City. No charge for late (7pm) checkout. Rooms very small but modern and clean. Many food places nearby- even McDonalds :). Staff was most helpful. In the middle of remodeling, still clean. Buffet not so great. Pass on dinner option.

The rooms were pretty small but very clean and nicely designed. I was very surprised as the price was very fair. The hotel is under construction (Fall of 2012) but I enjoyed the stay so much I want to go back and see it when it's finished and the sheet-rock is done. The Wi-Fi was strong in the lobby but very "iffy" in the rooms. Breakfast was free but not very appealing, i,e, I appreciate the Kosher, but the raw fish, olives, and various salad toppings are not my kind of breakfast. We opted to pay $4-5 across the street at the bakeries for fresh bagels and coffee.
No fitness or pool, but we didn't have much time to do that stuff anyway.

Here are the three key points that may get you to stay there.
1) The location is prime. It's 15 minutes from Old Jerusalem, 15 minutes from the Open-Air Market, and right in the midst of the city. There are several amazing restaurants and great shopping within 2 minutes.
2) The staff was amazing. I stayed for 9 days and had conversations with most, who truly wanted to make my trip great.
3) The price is great. It's not a 4/5 star hotel, but you're not paying for that either. It's a high 3-star and was worth every penny.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms away from the elevator as the hallway noise carries into the closer rooms. Also, ask a...

We were given a warm welcome but thought we were in the basement rather than the reception. To be fair a refurbishment programme was ongoing in this area. The room was small and even though we were on an upper floor the noise from the street could not be shut out. Towels were threadbare and stiff but the basic amenities were available. Coffee was available in the reception/breakfast area but only in paper cups. Breakfast was acceptable with a fair selection of pastries and fruit amongst other options.
Once the refurbishments have been completed the hotel might be more inviting but it seemed a lot of money for what we were offered. The location was probably the best feature of this hotel - easy to get to and within walking distance of the main attractions of Jerusalem and in the heart of the nightlife area. There are lots of restaurants in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor away from any street noise.
