Never been to Israel, or here? Try it

Not local food but in a very local spot

Nice friendly service guys in a wonderful old building

About 20 mins out of town but a good place to go

Food is pretty good, not wow and not unique but worth the trip

Atmosphere lovely especially if you like to eat outside

Sit upstairs outside, a lovely change from a city centric. Restaurant

I'd tell you more about. The food but not much to tell. I'd still go and try it

Let's start with dessert. We had a unique dessert at Brasserie that sums up the creativity of the chef. It was an ice cream made of dates, bananas and tehini alongside a splash of butterscotch and a crushed graham cracker cup filled with whipped cream, dates and bananas. The salads and entres were equally creative. My wife had a mushroom appetizer as her lunch, while I had an incredible sweet potato and vegetable ravioli. We shared a very fresh mixed green salad. And while we enjoyed the food, we sat on the open upper level that overlooked a mosque and an onion domed Russian Orthodox church. The restaurant is out of the way from central Jerusalem, but midway between Yad Vashem and Hadassah Hospital in Ein Keren if those are stops on your travels in Israel. Nice place to eat and relax after a busy morning of touring.

The roof-top seating definitely is a selling point, but so are the very kind and efficient service and the food. Even though the salad looked bland, it tasted unexpectedly good.
We will certainly show up, especially when they have a live, musical show and hopefully some optional dancing..

We visited place on Friday, it was quite there and we didn't have to wait for the table. We ordered variety of entry courses and hamburgers . We enjoyed our meal, it was with special twist and delicious. The only problem was that we had to wait a lot for the hamburgers - almost 40 minutes ( when we specifically asked to bring all together ), for the bill and mostly for everything....The place is not cheap as all mentioned before , but hey - this is a very touristic area and the food for such area is really nice

We ate here a few times. Have to say that we had different experiences each time. The place is in the beautiful Ein Kareml are and its probably the best restaurant in Ein Karem. Interesting mix of Mediterranean and French cooking. Very basic and simple desserts. Cozy winter atmosphere by the fireplace
NOT KOSHER
