Te ancient tomb here is believed by some to be Jesus's actual tomb. There are some beautiful gardens around as an overview over the local bus station an the hill there which some say is Golgotha because it looks like a skull... Whatever your beliefs, this place is free to enter, peaceful and quite beautiful - and depending on how many Christian groups are here, you may hear group prayers and hymns among the palms and flowers. Quite pleasant

This place was quite difficult to find as there as really small path leading there. The garden is beautiful and well maintained with elaborate system of audioguides. The main problem is that it iw very crowded and if you want to see inside of the tomb , you have to wait a long queue.

This is a nice location for people to see an old tomb. They also have a nice gift shop. The people here are very friendly and are always open to questions and comments.

This is a beautiful garden that is a pleasant retreat from the noise and crowds in Jerusalem. More importantly, the people who volunteer their time as guides at the Garden Tomb are wonderful. I have visited the Garden Tomb twice - the first visit was four years ago. Each time I have had the opportunity to visit the site was part of an archaeological tour of Israel. While the Tomb is probably not the correct date to have been Jesus' Tomb, neither of our guides claimed that it was. The beauty of their stories was their love of Christ that radiated through the tour they led through the Garden. It is a moving experience. It is a beautiful place with lovely people. I highly recommend it.

This is a very moving and peaceful place. A time to stop and contemplate the life and death of Jesus. It can get crowded at times but somehow you tune that out and thank God for the opportunity to visit this place.
