Owner description: Located outside the walls of Jerusalem, this beautiful garden among a grove of olive trees is thought to be the place where Jesus particularly enjoyed prayer and contemplation.

During our visit there were crowds of people. The Olive Garden was fenced off. Apparently they were digging trenches for perhaps a sprinkler system. The roses bushes and olive trees were amazing. We were disappointed not to be able to have our photos taken in front of one of the old olive trees. Perhaps next time it will be different.

What can I say about this sacred place, except that it warrents your time. 2000 year old olive trees, still producing fruit in the garden. You will see the Holy Scriptures in a new light after visiting this place.

Feeling blessed to visit the place, you can feel the Holiness and remembrance where Jesus was pray in this garden. The garden still well maintained and there are still old trees. Next to it is the "All Nation Church" which the mosaic window was really great designed.

This was the most important thing I saw when in Israel. Smaller than I would have guessed and located next to the massive Jewish Cemetery and across the street from the site where Mary and Joseph were buried.

A very nice, calm and inspiring place. Garden is old and very scenic. Note that there are small lizards there, running and communicating with each other. There is a very beautiful Church of All Nations there. It's a little bit unusual, and contain lots of interesting ideas implemented. If you like it, please note that there are churches designed by same architect on Via Dolorosa.
I'm not religious, but very fond of beauty, and for me it was the best place in whole Jerusalem.
