Well worth a visit and seems to be closer than it is, beautiful flowers and so well tended also very peaceful. Taking a look in the church before was also very nice and seeing Mary's tomb, sad but nice

“Garden with olive trees”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

The most important thing for me, was to see the olive trees that also stood there when Jesus prayed there. The church was also nice, but there were too many people there to give any peace to pray. Outside the sellers were too eager to let the pilgrims get the holy feeling that could be needed.

“Beautiful garden, appreciated for its historical significance”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014

The church and garden are just gorgeous and well-maintained. The old olive trees might date back thousands of years. There is a sense of calm and peace the moment you step off the street into the garden. I wish I had spent more time here. Next time.

“Authentic site”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

Well preserved gardens and olive trees. The crowds are large, because this is a very popular site. A good place to visit the site of Jesus' last prayers and the Church of All Nations.

“Centuries old trees”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

Beautiful gardens with twisty gnarled trees that must be centuries old, the church is lovely. I would think that no visit to the Holy land would be complete without a visit here. You can take Jesus' walk down on slippery stones, but it is worth it.
