One of the best museums I have ever visited!
Again, as almost everything in Jerusalem, make sure you devote enough time to visit it!
It has many interesting things. The Holocaust is recreated and shared with dignity I would say.
It is a respectful memorial to the 6.000.000 Jews who were killed during World War II.
There are lots of pictures, info, remains. It is made in grey. You feel rather "cold" inside but I guess it was done on purpose, to show how much those people suffered.
There is a memorial for the kids, which is dark lit only by dim light where the names of all the dead kids are remembered constantly.
A lovely garden with the names of the people who helped the Jews next to the trees. There is a synagogue, which is very interesting to visit.
There are sculptures which are amazing!
The Avenue and The Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations are musts.
The Museum contains some one hundred video screens showing survivor testimonies and short films, among many, many other things.
Painful but absolutely worthwhile!
