Wonderful place. No TV! But what do you kneed that for? Great food, wine, and people. Mass everyday, and a great breakfast shared with visiting priests. It is in a great location, just across from the new gate of the Old City. The rooftop view was spectacular!

A great and special hotel serving as a chapel for pilgrims to the holy land but not just. For us, an Israeli Jewish couple from Tel Aviv, the guest house was just like a trip abroad in Israel. Don't miss the beautiful view from the roof and then delicious breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony. The rooms with it have a great view of the old city.

So I decided to choose this hotel this visit due a very tight budget after coming back twice in almost six months and also going up North. And I made a mistake if you can't afford it save your money for later and take a better hotel. This hotel was really not my style at all. The rooms were not clean. The food was awful.
They just did not give me the service I am used to.

A great Catholic experience; 6:30 p.m. Mass every day; great Wine and Cheese restaurant on top with a beautiful view; great coffee in the morning; WiFi throughout and free; perfect location just across from New Gate; easy walk to religious sites in the old city, Mt. Zion, Mt. of Olives; short distance from Light Rail stop; Arab bus station; Loved the Mamilla Shopping Mall outside Jaffa gate easy walk from the NDC.

Room Tip: I stayed in the front of the hotel so do not know what other rooms were like. They were small but this was ok as I wasn't there much.

The beauty and majesty of this Hotel makes it worth the stay. The room itself was just average, the food there was average. the people are nice, but I would not say made me feel at home. The beauty of the Hotel itself is what I loved. The balcony overlooking the city was amazing. For those reasons I would not have wanted to stay anywhere but there. Close enough to walk to shopping and restaurants as well as The Old City. Loved my stay there.
