Brase yourself, even if your stay was confirmed fifty times, your room might be given to someone else... Then you will be checked out before your check out date, and no one never will apologize for being loud, making you wait for a drink at the restaurant 40 minutes, for being rude when you eat breakfast because it is the best time for the servers to argue about something and they do not care for your presence. Spend your money somewhere else. I am stacked here for a few more days. Last time... Boo.

Stayed one night in that Hotel and would say the only reason to use it is its useful position close to Old City of Jerusalem. Hotel services are not at all at the level of this Hotel cost (200,00 $ a night!)...some examples: just arrived in the room I found out that towels were totally missing, had dinner at the roof restaurant and I waited more than 40 minutes for a starter + maincourse dinner which cost 50,00 $ a person (and no bottle of wine, but just 1 glass of house wine). At 7,00 am in the morning housekeeper knocked to my door to check if room was free and she did the same every hour even if check-out can be done by noon...
As it belongs to a pontificial organization, hope the big profit they get will be use for charity...

Firstly the location is excellent. It is just outside the main city walls so it is a short walk into the old town or a short walk to Jaffa Road. The buses to Bethlehem are also a short walk down the hill.

The hotel is dominated by large tour groups on religious tours but the independent non-religious traveller shouldn't be put off by this. Breakfast is decent without being great but the roof bar has superb views over the city and shouldn't be missed. The service on the roof bar/restaurant is pretty slow but this just means you have more time to admire the views!

The rooms are expensive and those that like a lie in may be woken up as the tour buses start their engines in the morning.

I have stayed in Notre Dame for 4 nights. The premises, rooms, lobby are fantastic. In fact it is not luxury (and not expected as it is a pelegrim's hous), but the fact of being new, modern and good taste make it great. Additionally the kindness of the personel makes you feel welcomed:In particular Walid at the reception and Luftin in the roof terrace, from which you have a magnificent view of Jerusalem

Location, location, location! A few minutes walking and you are in the Old City Jerusalem. No need to rent a car! This hotel is awesome! New in feel, clean rooms, and Wallit (front desk) was extremely helpful in trying to assist us with last minutes reservations, lost luggage, etc. We were here during the first night of Passover, when much of Jerusalem was "closed" and were quite content in our balcony room. LOVED IT! To sit on the balcony enjoying the lights of the city is amazing! ASK for a balcony room! Notre Dame felt like home as we explored Jerusalem nomadically.

Breakfast was a buffet with a decent variety of foods: deli meat turkey, croissants, eggs, oatmeal, tea, coffee, and some fresh fruit, and dried fruit as well.

Missed the roof top sunset as we were out exploring, but this, I've heard, should be placed at the top of everyone's list.

Located just outside the walls of the Old City and overlooking the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher this Guest House is perfect for those visiting the Holy City. It is very clean, quiet and has a good Buffet for meals. No television and no frills in the rooms. It is meant as a place to sleep while one visits the sites. Staff is excellent and responsive to your needs without being intrusive.

Room Tip: All rooms are more or less the same; however, if you want a view of the Old City, then ask for it. A...
