On one Mountain you can visit the graves of the Israeli presidents and prime ministers. Nearby the graves of the fallen Israeli soldiers who defended their homeland. Very interesting media presentation about Theodore Herzl for visitors of all ages. Also lots of grassy park to enjoy the day.

Herzl has a special grave there. Search out the special monuments to groups of the fallen. Mt Herzl is also a very nice "mountain" with walking trails.

Unless you are really into Israel's history and her past wars not much to see or do over here. Besides that, very respectable and well kept cemetery

The mount which connects the past and dream with the price of the present. Take a tour at the museum with the children.

We were impressed with the dignity with which the fallen dead were laid to rest, and the memorials for dignitaries and unknown fighters. It is peaceful and well-maintained. An inspiration for us as to how to revere those who served.
