“Amazing Birthday dinner”
Reviewed 22 March 2014 via mobile

I have surprised my husband with Chef Menu dinner for his birthday. We were served over 10 dishes, including dessert and we enjoyed every moment of the three hours we were there. Amazing! We will return...

“Memorable Dinner”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

Reviews were somewhat mixed, but the restaurant was right across from our hotel, so we decided to try it. The service was impeccable: service with a smile, but not overdone. The food was excellent. We had the caesar salad for two of us as a first course, and loved the additional first course of polenta with cheese, which we did not order. As main courses, we had the breaded chicken breast (schnitzel) with fries, and chicken thighs with sweetish home fries. The thighs were excellent, as was the schnitzel, done just right. The price was reasonable.

“Great”
Reviewed 27 February 2014

This time we choose the "Chef menu" although it was a bit pricey but it was so delicious.
As always the mood is very romantic, very nice design with jars filed with pickles and a big window to the meet refrigerator. The open kitchen is always in action. The bar is in the swing!
We had our Valentines late Friday dinner. The place was already catering for whole bunch of family dinners around us. We sat at the table overseeing the mess hall.
The "Chef menu" included the dishes below with wine:
Prons,Tuna, Sirloin, Tuna Ceviche,Carpachio plater, Shels with egg pasta in hot sauce (no picture), Salmon with thai peanut sauce.
Desert plater - Cream cheese, marmolite spread, Berries cherbert, brownies, berries and stuff.
There was so much food that we asked to take away the rest of the dishes to celebrate morning after (entrecote steak and sirloin shishkababs with home fries).
It is our second visit and the food is always great.
We recommended it to many of our friends - they are all happy :)

“Totally hype, cool and tasty”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

Since Workshop has brought in a new chief from South America, I have lamented the loss of some iconic dishes such as the "Crab in pernod sauce" (can now be found as a special at Chakra) or the home made vanilla ice cream with chocolat crunch. However the food remains as creative and tasty as ever, and there is an incredible good vibe in the restaurant, whether you eat at the bar or at a table. I have rarely seen a combination of such good food and great atmosphere. Even more unusual, the restaurant manages to be hype without being snobbish.

The cherry on the cake is the incredibly friendly service - not only are the waiters are extremely nice, but they actually seem to enjoy working there.

I'd recommend sitting at the bar if you're a small party. They remain open during Shabbat (booking is a must on Friday night). In any case, the place is highly recommended.

“Good food, GREAT service”
Reviewed 26 January 2014

I went to the Sadna with three other people and we had a great time. Our server was incredible - he was pleasant and attentive, as well as professional - he really elevated our experience. The food however, was less impressive. We started with a Tuna carpaccio, which was over complicated to my taste, a Fried Fish starter (I cant remember the name) which was unremarkable (it was literately a pile of plain fried fish), and a main course of mussels, which was nice yet a bit over done. Our mains included several choices from the grill that were all good, and a lamp osobuko special - which was OK. All in all, the food was really less impressive than I've hoped, but the great service and atmosphere completely uplifted the experience.
